Review: WHOA!!!! - This one shocked me. I can confirm the reviews mentioning tastiness were highly accurate. It was an excellent quality, very tasty bird indeed. Now you're probably wondering what the whoa! is for? That is due to size. I ordered the medium. Let me tell you this thing was the size of a toddler!!! Almost filled the entire oven space. And boy was it heavy. Its parents must have been the size of an Osterich!!! Kept us fed for 3 days. Thank you Gressingham. I already love your duck breast, but now you made me fall in love with Turkey!!! I never thought I would see the day. I used to hate it. Nothing I could do could make it tasty. That has now changed and I will be buying Gressingham again next year. Oh and the frozen when it defrosted was mint!!! Dead easy 5 stars.
Review: Best Turkey I've had. desertcart saved Christmas too. - My mother said this was the best turkey she has ever had. Used Mary Berry's lemon, thyme & butter recipe. desertcart saved out Christmas with this beauty. Left overs from freezer where sooo moist and tasty too. Wished I could by another. Might do if I have a crowd again and its available.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: The main description and photos refer to Whole Turkey but the detailed description is of a turkey crown. Which is it?**
A: It is a whole turkey and although we haven't cooked it yet, looks a fine bird. Arrives frozen and packed with ice.

**Q: does it arrive frozen?**
A: Yes, as it should, but I imagine there could be variation depending where your order is fulfilled from and how long it sits in a vehicle. On the other hand, it takes a long time to defrost a turkey, so it wasn't something I was concerned about.

**Q: Are these basted?**
A: No defrost and baste yourself

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good size for price
*by S***N on 5 January 2026*

Very large, fed a good 8 people ( 2 children and 6 adults), was easy to defrost all things considered and was neatly prepped for basing and the like. Honestly for a last minute turkey, super amazing.
