This knife works great at cutting through both soft and crusty bread, sourdough and yeasted breads. It is the perfect size and cuts through even large loaves. The only reason I am taking off one star is because I already have some rust spots even though I have been washing it by hand. Definitely dry this knife off right away after washing.

Sharp. Really sharp. This is my go to for bread now. Dexter makes very functional and sharp knives. The handles work very well but are not artistic. But this is exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this knife.Oh and tomatoes - this knife is incredible. Wow. You’ll need a generic knife sleeve for it too.
