Highly recommend these swaddles, they are safe and easy to use, limiting the risk of suffocation you can get from a poorly swaddled baby with a blanket. We have been using this for our baby since she was 3 weeks old, she is now 11 weeks. We tried the other swaddles that replicated how the midwives swaddled them at the hospital but she always managed to wiggle her arms out. This has been a dream swaddle. It stops her startle reflexes from waking her up and we truly believe this is what has contributed to her sleeping 5 - 7 hours through the night since she was 6 weeks old. I have just ordered the transitional swaddle as she needs to size up now due to her weight. Her dad swears by this product and it is loved by both of us for letting us get such good nights sleep. I also find for her daytime naps if I don't use it, she falls asleep in this position with her arms up for the longest amount of time compared to any other position so I know it is the most comfortable position for her, not forced, and I also really like that her legs aren't restricted. It means she can still wriggle them around about 5am to get that well needed bowel gas out! I would say to any parents, skip the other swaddles that look like cocoons and use this - your nights sleeps will thank you for it! From a couple of well rested first time parents!
