Be Sure To Measure Your Calves Before Ordering! *by B***E on March 18, 2019* I was unsure whether or not to buy these boots, due to a size discrepancy in the description: At the top of the page, it states that the boot opening measures 14.25". But, when you scroll down, the ad info states that the boots have a 13 .5" calf circumference. Since my calf measures 14.5" around, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to zip them up. I decided to go ahead and order them however, and find out for myself. The boots do zip up, but since there is no extra room at the top, I can only wear leggings with them. They fit a little tight at first (calves and left foot), but stretched a bit after I wore them a couple of times. These boots are very well made and comfortable. Since my left foot is a little larger (9 3/4" long) they were a little tight on that foot at first, but since the leather is very flexible and soft, they have already stretched a bit and are now very comfortable. I normally wear a size 9, and was unsure what size to order, but these are working out well.Update: 8-29-2019--I tried my boots on with jeans again and wonder of wonders--this time they zipped up! So I can now enjoy wearing them with my blue jeans! Since these boots are real leather it didn't take long for them to stretch and conform to my shape.
