It is a high quality case, with padding and felt, but will not keep your charger at a warmer temperature than ambient. The Hulkman 85S will work down to -40°F, -40°C and the 85 model will work down to 5°F, -15°C, in case anyone was wondering. The 85S and higher models have built in warmers to heat the Hulkman battery. If you were talking about an electrical insulator, then yes. They are very well built and hold everything nicely... They say that the 85 will withstand storage temps of -40 to +135 degrees, I don't know if it was tested with or without the case... I lived in Florida and know it gets pretty hot, Maybe of those horrible hot days... You might either leave it inside the car or take in the house just to be sure...
