Review: I like this Desk Bike! - I'm going to start this product review by saying I like this desk bike even more than I thought I would. I work from home, so wanted something that I could use throughout the week to get some movement and exercise in my office. Here are some things that I really like: 1) It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. 2) I really like the size of the desktop on it. Not too big and not too small. 3) This desk bike tracks your speed, time, calories, distance, total distance (miles over time), and RPM (wheel speed). The little screen flashes to the next category automatically every 5 seconds. To reset it for each day, just hold down the black button until it beeps, but the bike still retains your total overall milage. 4) This desk bike is very easy to wheel around. I love this feature! I have several computers and laptops on my office desk, and I can just roll the desk bike up to the laptop or computer wherever I'm working at. Then, I put the mouse and mouse pad (plus keyboard if needed) on the bike's desktop and work from there. A person can also put the actual laptop on the bike's desktop, too. There's plenty of room for it. 5) I really like this form of exercise because I don't have to think about it while I work; I just pedal. I find, while I'm working, I can usually bike (pedal) 10 miles in about 84 minutes. So, I bike one mile in about 8 minutes and can finish 10 miles in just over an hour... and I'm just pedaling along at a leisurely pace, not going fast, with the tension knob set at 1. My current goal is to start biking at least 14-miles-per-day because I read that's equivalent to approximately 6,000 walking steps, which is a solid daily walking goal. 6) Overall, the desk bike's sound is quiet during pedaling, but I have not used it during a business meeting yet, so can't say if anyone else can hear it over a phone call. I think they probably would not hear it, or it would sound like quiet background white noise, like an air conditioner. There are only a few minor "preference-type" comments that I'll make. 1) You'll probably need to wear shoes or slippers with a harder sole when biking. The pedals are sturdy, but not comfortable without footwear (as would be expected with any bike). 2) The desktop and seat are just slightly wobbly when pedaling (although I haven't tried to tighten anything since set up). The slight wobble is fine for doing laptop or other general work, even most writing, or just watching TV. But if you're doing something that needs extreme precision, you might have to stop pedaling for a while. Having said that, this desk bike seems very sturdy overall, even with a little wobble. 3) The drink holder below the bike's desktop is not particularly deep. It holds my water bottle but it's not nearly as deep as a car's normal drink holder would be. Overall, I'm very pleased with this desk bike for the price and would recommend it!
Review: Great for When You Sit All Day - After four months, I'm happy I purchased this desk bike. I bought it to use while studying, since I sit at a desk during work and also have to sit most of the evening for school, but I've also found I enjoy starting the day by pedalling 10-20 minutes too. The bike comes in two pieces. You just fold out the legs, add the desk and slip on the rubber cup holder mat and pedal covers, and you're ready to go. The height of the seat is adjustable, and the desk moves up and down as well as back and forth. Both the seat and the desk are harder to push down than move in any other direction. The desk is steady but not steady enough for a mug of tea. It has a built-in wrist-rest, which I suppose could also prevent things from falling on your lap, though the desk is not slanted. My 13.5" laptop and mouse fit nicely on the desk, and I tend to keep my smartphone behind the laptop. I do like to have the laptop centered in front of me though, so I've ended up setting my lap desk off-center on top of the bike desk, so my mouse hand can be off to the right. This also lets me balance a tablet behind my mouse hand to play background media in my peripheral vision. It would be nice to have a clip-on desk extension for the desk. Another modification I've made is an old pillow over the seat and leaning against the wall when I pedal. The seat isn't that comfortable, and I think the all-in-one design require sitting upright, which is probably good for you but is also uncomfortable when you're studying for long periods. Since the wheels of the desk bike don't roll easily on my carpet, I turn it to face the room and lean my back on the wall to find a comfortable position. Overall I'm happy with the bike. Having fitness equipment right in my livingroom makes it easy to use in my spare time, and having something I can use while doing sit-down activities makes me feel so much better.

**Q: Do you have to use the desktop?  It's not enough for my 2 monitors, keyboard, and mouse.  I already have a standing desk, just looking for bike seat.**
A: I bought mine without the desk top and just used my own desk, as I also have 2 monitors. Works fine.

**Q: Very odd question, but can you pedal without a lot of upper body movement? i’m on zoom, all day, don’t want my clients distracted.**
A: Yes, I believe you can. The pedals are very quiet and you can pedal smoothly. I would say that with a lower tension setting, as opposed to a very high tension setting, you can have very little upper body movement.

**Q: What is the weight limit of the person using this? Those 4 legs look a litttle flimsy.**
A: The weight limit should be answered by the manufacturer, so I don’t know the answer to that question. The legs are not flimsy, the bike is very sturdy, I have it on a rubber mat and I’m only 150lbs

**Q: I am exactly 5 feet tall. Will this bike work for me?**
A: i believe so, the shorter, the better, i am 5'6" and works great !!, seat and desk are adjustable.

i like the ergonomic design. it's more comfortable than those regular cycle machines. But ultimately it's a bike seat. I wish I knew that they sold the more expensive version with an office chair before i bought this one. you have to go to the actual store site, not amazon, to get it. if only I knew.... pros: doesn't use electricity to run, except for the optional meter. Why is no electricity a pro? i've had 3 treadmills in the last year whose motor caught on fire. granted, they were cheap sub-200$ treadmills, but i want small storable ones. i've had enough of treadmills. love the table. you can play video games on it, study, surf the web and not even realize you're cycling. you can move it around via the wheels. cons: chair gets uncomfortable after an hour or so. like others have said, the table has a lot of wiggle to it. But it's not too big of a deal unless you need the table absolutely stable. i'm 5'6 and i guess i must have short legs because I have the seat on the lowest setting to reach the pedals comfortably. maybe a 5'2 person with really long legs won't have a problem either, but that's just on the edge i bet.
