This one is a cheap and cheerful and my first domed/low one. First few minutes, the vapor came out from the hole at the top. And then, it started coming out from the plastic "petals" and creating condensation on the wood... I took the lid off, and saw there was a plastic piece on the underside of the lit (a little like those plastic things on a home delivery pizza box.) Took that plastic piece out. It runs a long time, but the aroma seems to diminish the longer it runs. The little booklet that came with it is horrible, does not clearly describe product or its use. When I read reviews, one person complained that the mist came out around the edges of the petal design on top. That's true on mine as well, though my experience is, that when it starts running it comes out the center opening on top; as it runs though it begins to start coming out around the petals. The fill line is not clearly indicated in the booklet or on the device. I finally figured it out by filling a cup with 500 ml water and looking to see where it came to. My unit runs about 24 hours before it shuts off.
