Apollo Electric Greenhouse Heater

Sturdily built effective heater with two heat & one fan-only settings. Would be 5 star rating but for absence of temperature scale on thermostat. Provides frost protection on lowest setting.

We had previously bought the cheaper fan and it is easy to use comes on when the temperature falls ,this model the fan works constantly

Great Delivery and unit generates heat - but Fan does not work - so requested replacement unit.

After initially trying a paraffin heater to keep my greenhouse frost free without much success owing to the vapour given off I purchased this. First impressions are favourable, good thermostat and although the fan runs constantly, this moves the air around the space helping to stop "damping off" of my plants. Unsure as to running costs but really pleased so far.

The fan operates continuously so it is difficult to tell whether the heater is on at low temperature settings. The instructions for setting the thermostat suggest turning the control down until you hear a click. But this is almost impossible given the sound of the fan. Looked ideal but frustrating to use.
