AmazonBasics Ergonomic Wireless PC Mouse - DPI adjustable - Blue

I love the size, shape, and wireless features of this mouse. It is fast and works great with two monitors. The problem is the scroll wheel does not work great. I will scroll down and the screen will bounce up and down. It worked perfectly at first but now it is frustrating to use. I am at the computer working all day and I need the mouse to work correctly.

The mouse is the perfect size and I like the ability to change the mouse speed with a single click. I like the ability to click the scroll wheel. I work with engineering design software and it works great. The only issue I have so far is the clicking noise of the mouse. click.... click click... click. I don't know how long I will be able to handle this mouse do to the distinctive clicks that it produces.

Out of the box, it was perfect. However, after about a month, the scrolling got jumpy: when you scroll down the page with the wheel, sometimes the page bounces back up. I read that this happens because of dirt or dust in the optical scroll mechanism. There's no way to take this model apart to clean it, so I tried hitting it with some canned air in the gaps several times over a few weeks. But no luck—it still jumps. Yeah, it's cheap, but how hard can it be to make a mouse that works? Then somehow the curser tracking went bad, too. This is super annoying, and now I'm back on a an old wired mouse our IT admin gave me—but at least it works smoothly and perfectly.

This is a cost effective mouse. I had an expensive mouse and replaced that mouse with this one. This mouse has a button on the top that allows you to change the movement speed. I use 2 screen and having a fast mouse is important. This mouse is basic which is great, I do not need 10 buttons, lights, and strange shape. I need a fast mouse with page forward and back button. I now hope it does not break.

This mouse feels good in hand. It's easy to use. I just started using the mouse so I can speak to the battery life. But for the value this products exceeds my expectation.

It is almost impossible to remove the mouse transceiver from the holder next to the battery. No software is included to configure the extra buttons. Apparently engineers that designed this did no test marketing at all. There is no notch or anything to make it easy to grab the transceiver and remove it. I just leave it plugged into my laptop all the time, because I do NOT intend to go through that every time I use it. What a dumb design. USB connection sets up fine. Check on line for drivers to control the features for the extra buttons, no luck.

This mouse is very comfortable in the hand. On other mice that I have used, the placement of the side button takes no effort to press, and is right where my thumb rests on a mouse. The DPI feature is nice.One thing some people may not like about it is the scroll wheel. It wiggles side to side very easily. I don't really care, but consider it before buying.

Good item, nice quality. The downside which I hadn't considered is that the USB dongle stores inside the battery compartment AND the batteries need to be removed to get it out (unless you have long fingernails or a small screw driver or knife at hand). So it's inconvenient for travel or frequent removal

Worked right out of the box without the need for drivers on Windows 10. The mouse is surprisingly well made for the price and for general use I think most users would be quite happy.I purchased this to replace a far more expensive Microsoft mouse but despite the different DPI setting available it lacks the accuracy of the Microsoft product when used with Photoshop. A good overall product but users needing fine control might want to look elsewhere.

Mouse wheel broke after only 3 days, paint started to bubble and come off after a week of use. not very happy i must say.. If i am honest i should have spent the extra few quid and gotten a logitech i had one before and they last years even with lots of abuse from being dropped and kicked...But this thing, sorry i cant recommend this thing.

This product stopped working this morning. This was the second time that this had happened.Checking it, I was going to put in a new battery. I replaced the battery with a new one and when my husband looked at it, he checked to see if the old battery was dead. He found that in the short time I had had it but also that the battery terminals had corroded.With the new battery, it still cut out and it seems that the on/off switch is equally causing problems as it is still erratic in it's. I will return it to your offices for a refund and order something rather more robust.Marjorie Shaw

Really impressed with the value for money, wireless mouse works perfectly, just plugged in the slim USB receiver and it worked straight away. Adjustable DPI is a welcome bonus for changing mouse sensitivity on the go, something usually found higher-end mice.Only complaint would be that there's a sharp edge on the right hand side which can cause a little bit of discomfort depending on how you hold your mouse. Also had a small problem with the USB receiver getting stuck inside the mouses' internal compartment, ended up pinging across the room when I finally got it unstuck! However at this price-point I wouldn't consider these major issues.

Overall good mouse. One notable difference compared to logitech mouse is, this one is heavy with one battery. Difficult to lift it and scroll cursor while gaming,Update: no standby mode so battery drains very quickly, not sure how this is a highly rated item in amazon
