AKG Original [EO-IG955] Samsung Headphones for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, Black

Sound quality is superior to most earphones of the same price, the main wire is braided and volume control is decent.The earphone wires are not braided but they feel strong enough to withstand slight wear and tear.The 3 sizes of silicone buds aren't the greatest and are pretty hard to fit but they don't come off too easily preventing loss, I'll be using my own ones as they grip better, are easier to attach and provide a better seal.Overall these earphones are light and with the right silicone buds stay in and provide excellent sound quality, hit full volume without too much distortion (I always need my music on full volume) and they're good quality for the price you're paying (Currently under £6) so if they need to be replaced it won't break the bank.To top it off they were delivered 2 days earlier than expected...WINNINGUsing with my Samsung Galaxy J6+

Its okay . I like how it fits in my ears but I don't like the coil string.

I have 3 of these - the original from my Samsung phone over 2 years ago, which I was so impressed with, I decided to get 2 from Amazon as backup for my work bag, and one to carry on me all the times in my coat pocket. Those who said theirs was like the original must be super lucky as the extras I bought neither sound or feel anything like the original one (I still have all of them to be able to compare). What's impressive is at a glance they all look identical, have the same part number and packaging. Don't get me wrong for the price I'm very happy knowing that if I lose or break these two it's no big deal. However for me these sound far inferior and the quality of build and feel of materials are cheap by comparison. If your preference of music is on the bass end with greater mid range for that "boxy" sound then you'll probably find these adequate and the mics are reasonable. Interesting enough the first backup pair is far better than the second. The original, whilst also bass heavy has greater clarity, warmth and a premium feel - please note my listening preference is a neutral response from my studio days using Beyerdynamic DT cans which I use as my benchmark.

My nephew bought a second hand phone and those model of headphones was inside the original box. We tried them and fell in love with them. So I purchased those and OMG, they are so good and comfortable and for the price the sound is AMAZING. The sound is better than some much more expensive headphone. If you are looking for a daily use cheep but very comfortable with good sound headphone those won't disappoint.

Sound isn't very good

I had a pair of AGK wired earbuds that came with my Samsung S7. The sound quality from those was far superior to these. These produce a VERY tinny and distorted sound. Definitely don't recommend these for anything other than the shortest period of listening and certainly not suitable for music at all. Very poor.

Although it says for Samsung Devices it works perfectly well with Iphones My daughter reports they are perfect for her. Lonegevity tends to be a problem at this end of the market and that remains to be seen

Clear sound and comfortable. Best phones I have had to listen in bed.
