Great Product...Great Customer Service!
I ordered this product to fix my cable internet service. My internet started to drop out daily and I would have to disconnect the cable at the splitter and reboot the modem every time in order to get it to work, only to have to reset it again the next day if not more frequently. I was hesitant to order this item due to some reviews stating they did not receive the power supply. I rolled the dice and unfortunately, I also, did not receive the power adapter. I at first contacted Amazon who said I could return it, but they could not help with the missing item. I then called the company directly and was told to contact another company who handled their online sales. When I called, I got a recording stating all agents were busy but if I left my name and number, the next available agent would call me right back. Well, after three days, no one called. I then contacted the seller via e-mail with Amazon's link in my account page. Within hours I received a response and the company was very apologetic, stating that Amazon had received two cases out of 25 in which the manufacturer had inadvertently failed to include the power source. Unfortunately, they had no way to track which cases they were and they were aware of the problem. They understood how this omission had affected their reputation and were working diligently to send out power supplies as they became aware of it. They shipped the power supply that very day and it arrived within two days. Great customer service! I can understand their frustration and respect them for their candor and quick response once I contacted them through Amazon. The amplifier works perfectly and has fixed my issue and it's a great price as well. Quality product. If you need to boost your cable signal, buy this product. You will not be disappointed. If by chance you are one of the unlucky customers who does not receive the power supply, simply contact the seller via Amazon's link in your order summary page and they will be very quick to fix the issue. Do not make the mistake I did and try to contact them via telephone. Very pleased with my purchase!

Great for long Cable TV runs
I live in a rural town, and our house has underground utilities. When over-the-air broadcasts became digital, we lost virtually everything and had to resort to cable. Our only cable service available had to run a long cable underground from the nearest telephone pole to the entry point/grounding block near our power meter. We had good response from our cable boxes, but when we upgraded to HD and DVR service, we began to experience random losses of the online guide, no response from OnDemand, and occasional times our tv shows would get blocky and stutter. A call to Customer Disservice got us a basic one-way amplifier installed, which helped in some ways, and glitched out worse in others. Internet became slower than dialup, OnDemand would never respond. After doing some research, I discovered that an amplifier must be able to amplify and allow the signal to go BOTH WAYS - I know, right? Once I figured that out, I knew exactly what the problem was - no need to pay $85 for some dummy to spend 7 minutes in the house making the problem worse! Forget the service call, I'll fix it myself! (And if I don't fix it, I'll be the only one that knows, right?)So I ordered this beauty, and as soon as it arrived, I unboxed and installed it (and yanked that Cable Provider amp out). Instantly, internet connections were normal, OnDemand functioned perfectly, and we've never had problems with the guide. I installed it as the first and only splitter, operating one 30' cable to my modem, one 40' cable to my mother's bedroom (and split from there another 20' to my bedroom), and a third 150' run to a tv outside, and it was able to do this all flawlessly. (Well, ok, the outside tv was SD, connected to a digital cable box, but audio, video, guide, OnDemand worked perfectly!)

Works great fixed my comcast X1 Box issues
Works Great for my comcast XFinity X1 box. After wasting a ton of time with comcast support. I finally took it upon myself to figure out the problem. It appears the X1 box needs a much better signal than the older style HD comcast cable box. IF you are experiencing pixelation or system errors chances are your signal is weak. This will be especially true if you are using splitters to route cable around you house. I have a long run from the street to my house so that in itself is probably lowering my signal strength. So in my case I was not able to have more than one 2 way splitter on my line before the X1 box would not work. FYI - A two way splitter has -3.5db signal loss. A 3 way splitter has at least a -5db signal loss and 4 way splitter has a -7.5 db signal loss. My problem was I needed more than one 2 way splitter the way my house is wired. This 4 port NO LOSS Amp was the answer. It splits the signal 4 ways without any loss in or out. X1 box works great now. - PS. This requires power. It comes with a transformer to power it.
