Good idea, less than stellar execution...
The headset really can only be used under a helmet unless you don’t mind looking like an idiot with a box of blinking lights on your chin. The mic works pretty good, I ride a 103” FLSTN with non-baffled 39” Cholo fishtails. While callers could hear my pipes, it wasn’t overwhelming. The audio quality on the earbuds end tho is tinny and pretty weak. You struggle at times to hear audio even at the highest volume. The “bass” they proclaim is nonexistent & while the mic seems to be fairly well constructed, the earbuds themselves are very cheap and light plastic with a pretty weak driver. In my opinion, these are about 200% overpriced for what you get. They spent too much money on the box it comes in and skimped on audio quality.

Never ride without them.
I have been using the Slimbuds for about 5 months now. I have used them for my commute to work and 300-1200 mile trips. I find them extremely comfortable and have no problem wearing them for hours at a time. I did a 333 mile ride on Memorial Day (see attached picture) which lasted a little over seven hours. I ran out of battery before I ran out of comfort. The comfort level is outstanding, they make the ride more enjoyable as I can listen to my music while at the same time lowering the back ground noise.I am able to carrying on a conversation on the phone while traveling 55-60 mph on the motorcycle without having to talk loud and I can still hear the person I am chatting with, in fact I was told to stop shouting.I road two days in rain off and on going to and from Branson MO from near Traverse City MI. and the Slimbuds performed without flaws. The multiple size ear tips and hooks enable you to get a great fit. The two different types of ear tips also make it easy to get the best results. I find the silicone tips work best for me. Although the foam tips give a little better volume.I highly recommend them.Oh yes, please note that these rides were done with a half helmet.

Somewhat Frail but Well Performing Earbuds, PIA Company
TLDR: Slimbuds sound and fit amazing, functionality is limited, quality suspect, company doesn't answer emails.**Update: earbuds have started randomly dropping connection from device. Sometimes this can be fixed by cycling the power of the earbuds, a very difficult thing to do while riding, but other times reconnection can only be achieved by pulling over and doing it from the main device. Very annoying and inconvenient.**As far as the sound, noise isolation, and fitment go, these earbuds blow everything else out of the water; unfortunately that's not all that counts. I've used a com system (Sena 30k) for a couple years now and loved the functionality it provided but struggled to find the right balance of ear protection that would dampen wind noise while still allowing me to hear my music or audio book. Then I got a new helmet that was even louder than my old one and realized that the com system wasn't going to be an option anymore. Enter the Slimbuds. All of their advertising points are spot on, so I won't reiterate them here. However, what you need to understand is that they are LESS functional than a comm system, in that you have no usable external controls. Yes they have two buttons on the front, one to play/pause/answer phone, and the other to activate google/Siri, but good luck hitting those tiny little things while wearing gloves and a full face helmet, in fact it's impossible on both my helmets because they have the additional chin flap/guard that keep the wind from pushing up from underneath. So wearing these puts me back to the days where I can't adjust volume, skip songs, or even pause my music while I'm riding. All this is almost worth it though because of how well these things fit and isolate noise. With their wide range of tips and ear hooks I'm sure anyone can find a combo that works for them, I personally prefer the small foam tips as they block the most noise. These things fit so well that I don't have to reposition them after putting my helmet on, and they never come loose while riding. At first I felt that the construction of the Slimbuds was solid, they don't feel cheap. but after only a week of daily use, I commute on my bike and ride on the weekends, the left cord had started to pull out of the earbud housing. I fixed this with a dab of superglue and pushing it back in, but it's not a confidence booster to know that I' doing repairs on a $90 set of earbuds after only a week. Now on to my complaints about the company. I originally ordered these straight from EAOS, because I work for a company who sells all their products online and know that Amazon takes a fairly hefty chunk out of a product's margine to have a prime listing. And I want to support rider founded businesses as much a possible. This was a mistake. I placed my order on Jan 15th, heard absolutely nothing after the automated order confirmation that day.Jan 22nd - Sent a follow up email requesting details on my order and asking when it would be shipped.Jan 23rd - Sent another follow up email, about 30 hours after the first.Jan 24th - Emailed them to request they cancel my order, as I had decided to order off Amazon since a prime listing would get me the product in a much more reasonable amount of time.Jan 24th - Placed Amazon order.Jan 26th - Received Slimbuds from Amazon.Jan 28th - Filed a Paypal dispute because I still had heard nothing back from EAOS and still had no shipping confirmation.Feb 2nd - Received shipping notification from EAOS (no tracking)Feb 3rd am - Replied to shipping notification email asking why they were ignoring my emails.Feb 3rd pm - Received separate email stating the my EAOS order would be FULFILLED BY AMAZON and shipped that day.I have still never gotten a reply to ANY of the emails I sent to EAOS. Their customer service is atrocious; any bit of communication would have made this a non issue on my end.

Good at first, now not so much.
Easily one of the best things I’ve ever bought to improve my ride experience. I wish I’d have found these before I bought my way too quiet SENA, or my way to distorted Cardo Smartpack. That’s $400 I will never use again after these. These are simple amazing. Best audio I’ve ever had in my ears, very comfortable, great battery. Best of all I can use Siri to direct my iPhone to make calls, change music, ask the weather, get directions, all with one button.Noise cancelling is great, 80% as good as foam earplugs and crystal clear, deep bass audio.I can’t comment on the rider to rider comms, I doubt they are as good as the other options, but for primarily single riding, search no more!UPDATE: 3.19.2020All microphone functionality stopped about 2 IOS updates ago, the microphone is entirely useless with my iPhone X, now iPhone 11 Pro. It refuses to answer calls, or anything for that matter. Most likely something with the Bluetooth capability of these earbuds not matching newer phones. It also appears the company is almost out of business, I’ve sent nearly half a dozen emails over several months. No reply at all.Still works as a decent set of sound isolating earbuds, I can stream music, but that’s not why people buy these, they buy them for the ability to talk while riding. Two stars instead of five originally

Works top notch, truly impressed, butneeds a option with more slack
I have just received them and tried them on. Now I know I have a big head but I’ve extended them as far as they will go and it barely fits with the microphone resting on my lower lip we’re a soul patch is grown. I would liked to have more cable so I can have choice of position, Even letting it lower under my chin when I’m not riding. I will update but my first impression is some disappointmentingUpdate: ive put them to the test. The ear buds fit very well and flush to the head so no real presure is exerted when under my full helm. putting it on and keeping it there was a bigger challange u ended up having to hold it with my teeth and then move it down once the helmet was on. The big test was using it when riding with my beany half helmet. It worked great! i talket to a friend doing 110 on the highway (km not miles) and he could hear me fine with no background noise. The ear volume is load a d clear the headset performs above expectations. I gave it 4 stars beacause the lenth of slack cable is to short for mybig headUpdate/. Ive used this quite a bit in testing and I can say I am truly impressed. I’ve put it through every type of challenge I could think of like only wearing a half helmet riding 120kmh into the wind while raining, I’m serious (didn’t expect the rain 😑) and talked to friends used voice dial and listened to music and audiobooks while riding. It handled It all flawlessly. The ear buds are so smooth to the canal of your ear that the do not stick out in the slightest, the ear loops keep them on and the noise isolation is truly exceptional as I had no problem hearing the audio. I may adjust to a bigger ear loop trap and like I stated before this unit is right on the edge of being to small to fitt my planetoid of a head but with all the positives I now feel it still earns a five (up from four).

Spend the extra $100 for a better system
Voice activation for answering and making calls doesn’t work while I’m riding, which is why I bought this product. I basically use these as earbuds for music. Unfortunately, now I’ll have to spend more money for a better unit.

Extraordinaire pour la moto!
Surtout pour écouter de la musique sur iPhone et écouter les instructions GPS. Très bonne audition même à haute vitesse sur la moto.
