For my particular lighter application I needed something with a little rigidity. This simply was not that. It was more of a monofilament wire inside if any. Disappointed, I chose this specifically for the wired wick.

They're too large and they can't be pulled down into the lighter without the wicks getting ruined. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I Learned What Not to Do!

I was unfortunately underwhelmed with these wick and cotton batting replacements for Zippo loghters. I had such a hard time getting the wick into my lighter. I actually ended up with small pieces of fiberglass poking my fingers because I didn't pay attention to what I was doing. At that point, I gave up. They give lots of cotton packing in this package, and it's like an unrolled cotton ball. Wear gloves when you replace the wicks!
