I was worried about how difficult it would be to set up due to some reviews, to be fair it was a bit of a pain at first but I got used to it quickly. I have mine on the S3 setting which allows adjustment of wrgb levels to suit taste and has more timer settings. I had it on S2 initially but was unable to adjust the wrgb levels and felt a bit unhappy with some of the preset light settings, S3 allows everything to be adjusted and a more natural looking light if wanted or ability to turn up individual colours which can get reds or greens in the tank to 'pop' more. The temperature monitor allowing high and low alarm parameters to be set is also handy. Review: Great for planted tank - Good light; it helped my plants grow really well, but I found the controller to be a little complicated.
