It sure does not feel or look like it. I got the 22mm black one and it fits my watch perfectly. The genuine leather feels soft and comfortable on the wrist all day and has very good quality. It is a bit though to fold at the beginning but it then gets the correct shape after a few days without having to put as much pressure as it needed when it was new. It has a nice texture, and oil finish and the deployment clasp works smooth and easy. The buckle is polished. The clasp mechanism was a bit weird to understand, but once you put it in the correct position you forget about it since it is a one time only setup and then it is super easy to put on the watch. There is a bit of bulkiness added by the clasp mechanism but it is still not too bad. I have been wearing it for a few weeks now and it still looks new with no wear. It also comes with the tool needed to remove your watch band but it is not needed to install this one since it has the quick release.
