These paints are perfect for the Watercolor Workbook: 25 Beginner Botanical edition! The saturation of color is beautiful. I love having this paint in tubes because they are an easy clean up and easier to use and store! Tip: if you don’t use all and it dries just add water to resaturate the color again! A little goes a long way! Review: All around wonderful watercolor sketch kit from Sakura series - This kit is complete and except for watercolor paper. As with other Sakura Koi portable kits, this has a water brush, two small sponges, and a plastic mixing palette. This is different from the other kits in this line, and most other brands, by the 24 colors within. They are pearlescent, metallic, and fluorescent watercolors. This is not for traditional landscapes but right for fantasy scenes and characters. It gives a special touch to cards. This brand makes a variety of kits, from small to large, with other color choices. Cut some watercolor paper into little cards and fit them in the lid and all can be held in your hand. The ring on the back is for your finger and the palette "legs" will fit to the side. The box does a good job of illustrating this concept too. I own several of these Sakura kits, different sizes and color combos. Their design is well thought out for ease of use, materials, compactness and a good buy too. ## Features - ALL-IN-ONE-KIT: Ultra organized and compact kit contains great quality watercolors, a water brush that can store water, dabbing sponge and a mixing palette. - CAPTURE THE MOMENT: Portable kit makes it easy to take on hikes for plein air painting outdoors or for painting while travelling. - UNIQUE COLLAPSABLE WATERBRUSH: Sakura’s water brush separates into two parts: a medium brush tip and 9ml barrel handle with a plug to carry water allowing it to fit perfectly within the set. - PERFORMANCE BLENDING: Each watercolor is individually color matrix tested against all the other colors to ensure colors blend well. This special set includes 24 half pan watercolors consisting of 8 fluorescent, 4 metallic and 12 pearlescent colors. - CERTIFIED NON-TOXIC: Approved by ACMI toxicologists and bears trusted AP Seal. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07DW9HQSQ | | Additional Features | Quality watercolor paints at student grade pricing, detachable & repositionable pallette, finger ring on bottom for easier gripping, self-contained waterbrush included | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Art Craft Kit Type | painting | | Best Sellers Rank | #46,637 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #939 in Art Paints | | Brand | SAKURA | | Brand Name | SAKURA | | Color | 24 Colors | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 671 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00084511316812 | | Included Components | 1 9mm waterbrush, 2 dabber sponges, Detachable & repositionable pallette, Pull out finger ring grip on bottom of box Included Components 1 9mm waterbrush, 2 dabber sponges, Detachable & repositionable pallette, Pull out finger ring grip on bottom of box See more | | Item Dimensions | 6.5 x 3.56 x 1 inches | | Item Highlight | Travel Watercolor Paint Set, Portable Art Kit for Hiking & Painting Outdoors, Includes Fluorescent and Pearlescent Colors | | Item Type Name | Koi Watercolor Kit | | Item Weight | 7.04 ounces | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 6.5 x 3.56 x 1 inches | | Manufacturer | Sakura of America | | Manufacturer Part Number | XNCW-24MPN | | Material | Paint, Plastic | | Material Type | Paint, Plastic | | Model Name | CAC - Creative Art Colors | | Model Number | XNCW-24MPN | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Paint Type | Watercolor | | Product Style | Compact | | Set Name | Koi Watercolor Kit | | Size | 1 Count (Pack of 1) | | Subject Character | Koi | | UPC | 651628839000 084511316812 651628775568 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** SAKURA - **Color:** 24 Colors - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 6.5 x 3.56 x 1 inches - **Material:** Paint, Plastic ## Images ![Sakura Koi Pocket Field Sketch Kit Creative Art Colors - 24 Colors - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71T+TKj5WLL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this set have istructions for beginners?** A: No instructions for beginners are included with this beautiful watercolor set. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful saturation of color! *by M***K on August 12, 2026* I bought these to try with my watercolor paint book I bought on Amazon.
