Snooper Truck Mate S8110 7-Inch Truck, Lorry and HGV Satellite Navigation System

I had a cobra truckmate before so i kinda knew what to Expect....( I got my moneys worth from it had it over 5 years ) the Snooper S8110 works better than my old one ! as most trucks nowadays have a new camera system that has internet tracking, my old one would lose gps signal as it couldn't find the satellites while the tracker system was on. this new snooper has no problem you just need to turn it on outside the truck and wait a min or so for a gps lock(if the truck has Tracker system fitted) then it works fine. tested the TV it didn't work out of the box but after an update it works fine but i never got it for the TV function so will hardly ever use it. all in all been using it 2 weeks now and i'm happy with it definitely recommended for all your trucking needs !!!! (Make sure you update it before taking it out to use !!!)

No problem with the product except that it had been pre registered so the added cost of changing this to the original price does not save a lot.

My 2nd one of these. First one lasted 2 years before touch screen packed in. Had second one 2 months Carried in protecting good quality case and then in sturdy satchel type bag. Unfortunately I dropped the bag getting out of truck and on checking found the screen cracked like a spider web so robust it certainly isn’t. This has rendered the touchscreen useless again so £300 down the drain. Won’t be trying a third one!!

The sat nav I would say is as good as most sat navs and gets you from A to B with the odd mistake from time to time. I’ve yet to find a sat nav that is faultless.As for the built in free view tv, the only picture you will ever get will be while tuning it in while sitting in your front room at home.Unless your at home with a good signal you won’t ever see a tv programme on nights out in your truck.

satnav is fairly good. had to return the first one as it tried to send me along 7.5 ton weight limits despite being set for 44 tonnes, television is next to useless, you would be better buying the same model without the television, i wish that i had and saved a few pounds, 07970 652082

It needs more than just short time or short route. An easy option would be good as not all short routes are compatible for the size of vehicle.

Maps are very good and accurate but the window mount is poor and very flimsy , for the price I would've expected a mag mount the TV as very good when you get a signal .its the snooper that I found disappointing as its an extra cost .But the help of the snooper staff is excellent .
