QMx Star Trek: TNG Picard 1:6 Scale Articulated Figure

All I can say is WOW. Words cannot even begin to explain how incredibly AWESOME this figure is. This is beyond anything I've ever found before in the Star Trek figure world. The likeness/face is so realistic and so spot-on Picard it's incredible. It's hand-painted, the eyes actually glisten in the light, it looks like Patrick Stewart is standing on my table. This is definitely worth the money. All I can say is get this one if you're a fan of the show. I was blown away by it. I already expected something amazing but it was beyond my highest expectations. I am extremely picky about likenesses of figures and I only want the best....well, this is beyond the best this is THE ultimate Picard figure. Get it!!! You won't be sorry; money well spent.The articulation (more than 30 points) is so realistic that it moves like a real human being, he stands extremely well on his own even without the stand that's included. There are several extra hands to hold the various accessories. He can wear his holsters & phaser on his belt (magnets) just like the show. The uniform is tailored and is of the exact materials as the real thing...it has a real mini zipper and everything. The boots are sewn and have their own separate sole, cowl, etc...it's so meticulously crafted and so thoughtfully done.Obviously this is for an adult, no child should go anywhere near it. This is truly one of the best figures I've ever owned and I have finally found something to meet my incredibly high standards and expectations. I also have McCoy from the Original. I was sad to see I missed Captain Kirk and Spock but I am hoping they'll have another run soon/for the holidays. I would pay double what I paid and still be satisfied. The only thing I don't appreciate is that I paid $167 from Amazon just three days ago and they now jacked it up to $174. I guess I can't complain though since QmX set it at $180 and some sellers on here are scalping these figures at over $300. So disreputable.I hope QmX comes out with more characters in the near future. This is so good that I feel it ruined other figures for me, now that I know just how good they can be!

I have 5 QMX Star Trek action figures. The Picard is the only Amazon purchase. He is not up to the standards of the others. The joints are loose and donot hold their pose. I got him out today to give him his Earl Grey, the cup was broken . Then his right hand stob broke off ( not the hand I was changing) Ridiculous. So now I have a 300 dollar worthless collectable. Highly displeased

The detail is amazing but the hand joints are a disaster. They break WAY to easily.I own multiple Hot Toys figures and I've never broken a hand joint. QMx needs to just copy that design.By all means get one, it's an amazing likeness just change the hands out at your own risk.

This is easily the best Picard figure out or at least that I’m aware of. Definitely the new focal point of my collection. I did notice a few flaws immediately, one being the uniform dye definitely stains the neck even though it’s wrapped in plastic there is still a stain where the uniform meets the neck. The second flaw is the hand joints, went to remove the right hand that was installed and it broke like a twig. Regardless this is my favorite figure of Picard the likeness is very close and the detail on the uniform and accessories is amazing.

I am so disappointed. I was extremely excited to receive this figure because it looks so much like him! I had watched YouTube reviews cautioning that it's easy for his wrists to break and that one should be extra careful when switching the hands. I was so so careful, and the hand broke anyway. The pip set on his collar (the 4 dots on his collar) also just CAME OFF because my hand brushed against it. I guess the glue wasn't strong enough. For this price, I wish the the thing didn't come apart so easily! Unfortunately I would really not recommend this purchase, especially at this price point. Two stars instead of one because the figure really looks so much like him.

Anyone collecting 1/6 scale collectibles knows that the gold standard has been set by Hot Toys. When QMX came on the scene announcing that they were going yo be doing 1/6 collectibles and that they were going yo be doing Star Trek it was hard to believe that they would stand up to the quality set by the larger companies that had been doing them for years. That concern was quickly put to the side when the figures hit the market. One of the best being Captain Picard. The head sculpt and tailoring of the uniform are incredible. The only problem with these figures is that they aren't coming out fast enough. If you are a Star Trek fan and like to collect high quality collectibles then pick this up.

This figure is amazing! The likeness is one of the best I've seen that isn't Hot Toys. The seller gave the best price I could find and I truly hope they sell other Quantum Mechanix figures. I will for sure buy from them again.

Black dye from the clothing stains the figure underneath permanently. The neck of the figure will turn black within days of getting the figure, if it's not already stained inside the box. Don't get one of these if you want it to look good on a display, because it won't. Maybe if you make a new uniform, but that kind of defeats the purpose of getting this toy.
