It's been a huge hit with our family and can easily pull around four people in the pool. It's not incredibly fast, but it's definitely faster than swimming on your own and provides a fun boost through the water.Battery life has been solid for our use. We typically get around 45 minutes of runtime in the pool, though it's constantly being passed between kids rather than running nonstop. The biggest downside is the recharge time—when the battery finally runs out, it takes about two hours to fully charge.It's lightweight and perfect for pool use. We took it with us to Maui and had an amazing experience using it in the ocean. We also had no issues bringing the batteries through TSA as carry-ons.Overall, this has been one of our favorite water toys. We ended up buying the more powerful version with fast charger as well to relieve kids fighting over whose turn it was. One issue we’re still trying to check out. The second time we used this Sublue the battery only lasted 15 minutes compared to 30+ minutes on the first use. My husband believes it might be that we charged the battery and then didn’t use it for several days. On the third time we used it battery life was back to 30/40 minutes. All in all has added much fun to kids pool time. Grandkids haven’t been back since we got the higher end version.
