Older motors, but still hold their own
I have flown these motors since '17 when HGLRC released the XJB145 3" quad. These were the motors on that quad. I have owned three of those quads. So, I ended putting some of the motors on another build. After a rough crash, I needed backups. I decided to stick with these instead of upgrading to newer, more modern motors and it has worked out great. These are currently installed on a BetaFPV X-Knight 4" frame using a 30A AIO. I get amazing performance since the build is so light! The picture on scale is of AUW (including 4s 850mah lipo)!

good build quality, shipped in a timely manner.
Has solid build quality across all 4 motors, and came at decent price. Everything arrived in a nice, neat package and came with a plastic clamshell case along with a bunch of mounting screws, and it shipped in a prompt and timely manner.I have not tested the motors functionality-wise, as I am still waiting on a controller board, but on first impression, it does seem like the motors are of premium quality and the machined aluminum housing has a clean finish and doesn't feel cheap, by any means.

Durability & performance
Bought a set of 4 a month ago & they perform very well & i run them hard battery after battery in a row. I run these on a 130& 140mm & power them w 4s 120c lipos. Very responsive & also durable can take a crash into a tree or into the ground & not bend or break. I bought a second set recently & would buy a third. Highly recommend.

Seized motor replaced by HGLRC! 100% customer satisfaction
So I am redoing my review of hglrc and would like to say that customer support has been absolutely amazing. 1 motor that was sent to me was not spinning properly NHD lrc jumped at that opportunity to send me another motor that is now in transit to me. I do apologize for my initial review of the forward Motors and look forward to receiving my new motor to place on my quad and we'll give them a five star review because of their customer service and because I have already ordered a ton of hglrc products and know that this company makes good durable products at a great price. I would urge anybody that is looking for a great set of motors to keep these in mind during their search and know that hglrc will always back you and their customer support is 100% satisfactory

Pretty decent lil motors for a 3" whoop
So far so good. Bought a 5th motor just in case,( but I always do). Wanted a motor I could bash around inside with my cinewhoop build. An they have held up. They pack some thrust that's for sure. They are pretty boxed in so will get hot to a point but not any hotter. Depending on what your build is,they will get the job done.

Great motors unfortunately not what I needed however
These motors are awesome but unfortunately it was my ESC that died on my XJB and not the motors. This hobby is depressing and very expensive. I haven't felt so down since I was a teenager. I just want to fly but it seems like it's problem after problem when in fact the only issue is the ESC. It's just that I waited so long to get the motors then I got them and found out it was the ESC that died now I am screwed.I'm about to give up on this whole thing. I spent 450$ altogether just to get to fly for about 35 minutes. The worst part about it is that i had just gotten another battery pack to be able to fly for longer when the ESC died for whatever reason before I even got to use the new pack. Depressed isn't even the word man... this really sucks.

Not worth the savings over other motors.
One motor stutters right out of the box- prop on or prop off, even swapped motors and made sure it wasn’t my ESC... it’s not. Unusable. I took a chance on these because the price was right, but seeing so many people in cinewhoop forums saying these have issues and causing quads to drop out of the air, it’s just not worth it to get a replacement motor. I’ll be sending these back. I’ll be buying the iflight or t-motors.

Awesome motors for 3" quads
Perfect for 3" Quads on 130mm to 150mm frames, these brushless motors are machined to perfection. On the bottom of each motor I've noticed balancing glue, which shouldn't be removed. Each motor is individually packed in its own plastic bag and includes a metal nut nylon to prevent them from backing out. You get eight mounting screws per motor, so it does come with a generous amount of spares. The leads are 8cm 24AWG silicone cables that are pre-tinned and ready to be soldered. With the wires, each motor weighs approx. 15.7g (14g without the wire).Rated for both 3S and 4S, you can really blast around with these little guys.
