Gator Pro Bangstick w/Power Head: .44 Magnum Bang Stick (O-Ring Type)

Update: My hunt ended with two nice gators. Didn't have any problems that other reviews have mentioned.Very nice quality bang stick. Tapped 1/2"-13 (unc) on the other end of the shaft. Their website says this tap is for the "included" stainless steel eyebolt for the purpose of attaching a rope. But I received no such eyebolt. So I purchased a machine lift bolt which looked much better than an eyebolt would have.Now all I need is a 13' gator to stick!

Got this two weeks ago. Tested this on three .44 magnum shells. Two shells split. Used Hornady .44 magnum hollow point. See attached pics. Also blew an o ring, see pick below. Just contacted seller. I'll file this review day 1 and let everyone know what the seller says and what the manufacturer does. UPDATE: Sellers response, "what do you want?" My response, "this to work." No further communication. You might want to pass on this.

Took this out gator hunting...worked great on both gators!Sturdy and light weight, very happy with this item.

Works great! I'm a part-time commercial fisherman in Hawaii and we use it for big Tuna and Marlin to make boating them safer and easier. Super simple and effective. It helps to keep the rings lubed with silicone spray or dry lube. (Other oils could eat the rubber rings)

Excellent quality bang stick, extremely well built. The price can't be beat. Recieved well before expected date. As far as ammo, a self defense round is overkill, a waste of money, and could result in bullet jacket seperation. A powerhead is meant to seal on the shark's skin and kill by concussion, not the bullet. I like a decent cowboy action cast solid lead slug, coated good (especially the primer) in nail polish. Eliminates jacket seperation. An added bonus to this type of round is a powerhead is legal in most places. Hollow point pistol ammunition, however, can get you in trouble in many locations.

This is a great piece of equipment...fires every time for those who know how to use it...
