A: Yes they have been in the dishwasher quite a few times and they still look as good as new and yes they are made of stainless steel.

**Q: what strength is the stainless steel...18/10 ?  What length of guarantee comes with them?**
A: I've had them for 4 yrs still going strong 10 out of 10 fir them

**Q: How come only black is dishwasher safe?**
A: I’ve put my gold ones in the dishwasher several times . Seem fine .

**Q: Does this cutlery stain with tea etc**
A: No I can say 100% that it does not. I have been using this for well over a year daily, for numerous cups of tea, and it is still in perfect condition.
