My Boy Scout troop and I have used this on both the MSR Whisperlite backpacking stove and the classic Coleman propane stove. The pot worked fine and if anything I think it boiled the water faster than usual on the Coleman stove. The only issue with had was when the flames on the backpacking stove was a little high and blackened the handles on the side but that was more of an user error than a fault of the pot. **Q: This is ridiculously expensive.
