Battery pack failed to charge and is useless
I used this light for less than 30 minutes total over an 8 month period. In the time that I wasn’t using I maintained the proper charge for storage of lithium batteries. When I went to charge the battery to full capacity it would stop charging after 10 minutes and the flashlight would light for 5-7 minutes before cutoff. I notified the seller of the problem and they had me take a video of the issue and I sent it to them. They informed me the warranty had expired and I would have to purchase a new battery pack for approximately $200.00. They also said they didn’t have any battery packs available so I have a completely useless $600.00 flashlight. I explained that I am an engineer and design huge lithium systems that are used in space and a failure of a battery pack like this would probably be a faulty assembly, a bad lithium cell or cells or incorrect lithium battery cells used. I have used Sony VCT6 cells in other projects and in fact have a ZebraLight with a Sony VCT6 cell that is still working at full capacity after more than 3 years. If lithium batteries are charged and stored correctly they will last a very long time and the Sony VCT6 has an excellent reputation for reliability. I suspect the cells contained in this Acebeam battery pack are not Sony VCT6 as is claimed in all of the Acebeam X70 Flashlight documentation and marketing. No customer should be told after purchasing this expensive flashlight that the battery pack fails in one year or less and that they have to purchase another battery pack that is very expensive and not available. I am not satisfied with the sellers response and lack of customer service or options offered by them or apparently Acebeam. I do not recommend purchasing this product. The Olight X9 Marauder which I also own and purchased before this flashlight is working fine using the same charging and storage practices I used with the Acebeam.

Throws a beam for a mile, and the flood feature turns night into day.
I don't use this flashlight as my daily but live on acreage and at night it's pitch black. This flashlight on full power and even half power easily solves that problem and can shine light onto a pack of coyotes that would be out of the range of a typical flashlight. Yes. This thing is overkill but if you need a large flood light with a ton of battery life, this thing is exactly what you need. Even on low power mode its insanely bright and can last for hours. Charging it is quick and the fan/handle serves a purpose. It is a bit bulky though and you don't want to use this in a situation where you could drop it or ding it into things as it made in China (take that however you will). The color of the lightbeam is 5k-ish which at first I thought I wouldn't like but now see the benefits. There was ZERO buyers remorse even 8 months later and was worth the $560 at the time of purchase.

This Flashlight is big. But Nice
This flashlight is like a Ferrari. You like to go fast sometimes. It is a great toy and works great, but it a little overkill. I still like it. My Acebeam X-80 GT is the best of the flashlights. Remember, right now, anything over 18000 lumens will get hot. Of course, you don't need all that light all the time, but it's nice to have. I did purchase a spare battery, and it is around 200.00 dollars, that's why I like the flashlights that have cartridges for installing your batteries. Remember its big.
