Panasonic original magnetron type 2M261-M36 for high end inverter microwave ovens. The full Panasonic reference and part number for this magnetron version is: Z2M261-M36J1B This magnetron is commonly used in many Panasonic inverter models though may be found in other manufacturers ovens as well. This magnetron is an inline version, i.e. the airflow and electrical connectors are parallel in the same plane. This magnetron version has low profile mounting lugs. If the magnetron looks the same as your old type, then it will probably work though check the configuration carefully and compare to the new one. The airflow and terminal orientation must be exact. Thank you for your help and YouTube film, extremely easy to follow instructions top marks.Panasonic customer services were a total waste of time NO HELP whatsoever, they would not even disclose how to reset. All they were trying to do was sell us another microwave which cost us almost £500 and only lasted just over two years!!! If we had used their recommended repairer’s, which were at the other end of the country, it most certainly would have been cheaper to buy a new one.Job and costs completed for the price of their call out charge.Once more a huge thank you. My five star rating to you is well deserved.
