She said it has a pleasant mint scent. We love fresh mint especially during summer. Now I must say this. The spray does work. Keeping mice away for a short time. It will not get rid of them. So you'll still need to purchase traps of choice to destroy them. It's safe to use around kids and pets. Use gloves to protect your hands from the mint oil. I've read reviews about the spray nozzle. Not working properly. As long as you keep the pump nozzle. Straight down and squeeze the sprayer with care you're good. Just know that as with anything. Mice will get used to the scent and will return. However it's a wonderful deterant. I recommend this for temporary peace of mind. It contains other ingredients (Water, Glycerin, Polyglycerol Oleate, and Soap). It also cautions to keep out of reach of children. **Q: I have a little fellow. If I spray this in my house now, will he go away or should I set a trap and then spray it to prevent more from coming?** A: I tried spraying all over the counters and it kept them away for a while. u have to do it like once a week. Get a no kill multi mouse trap with see through top catch and release 2 blocks from ur home . mild minty odor but srtonger ones more effective. Need to find hole and patch it with metal. **Q: can I spray this on my gardenia to keep the squirrels from biting off the branches to make a nest?** A: Yes this spray is safe for all vegetables and plants. Won’t harm the plants, humans or animals, and all rodents and deer don’t like the mint smell. **Q: Will this work to detract honey bees around a pool?** A: We have a bee problem due to living by a canyon and a fountain on our terrace. I read somewhere to sprinkle cinnamon on the terrace and I have to say it seems to be working. I buy the big thing of cinnamon at Costco and sprinkle it occasionally outside. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well to deter mice *by J***E on August 17, 2026* Order arrived fast, my Aunt recommended this spray. My biggest issue is that the bottle is so small and you do need quite a lot of it to be effective, and for the love, the constant spraying leaves your forearms screaming. I wish this came in a garden hose jug. ## Frequently Bought Together - Mighty Mint Peppermint Oil Rodent Repellent Spray – Natural Indoor & Outdoor Control for Mice and Rats – Plant-Based, Extra-Strong Formula - 16 oz - Mouse Repellent Pouches, 10 Pack Peppermint Oil Mice Deterrent for Indoor Outdoor, Natural Repellent Keep Rodent Squirrel Spider Pests Repel Rats, Safe for Pets & Family - Mighty Mint Peppermint Oil Insect Repellent Spray – Natural Indoor & Outdoor Bug Control for Spiders, Ants, Roaches, and More – Plant-Based, Extra-Strong Formula - 16 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/87698183-mighty-mint-peppermint-oil-rodent-repellent-spray-16-oz](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/87698183-mighty-mint-peppermint-oil-rodent-repellent-spray-16-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
