My daughter plays with this year round. In the winter it doesn't turn into a frozen pole so she can comfortably play without gloves if she likes. We took it over to Lowes to get it shortened- they cut it on the mark free of charge in seconds. Thanks Lowes!! We popped a custom purple Debeer Fierce head on it and a black bumper on the bottom. It looks and feels great! She is 9 and has no problems with the weight as it is heavier than some of the metal shaft options.
