Easily converts from a bench with backrest to a table in seconds, supports up to 500 lbs, and features slatted surfaces for quick drainage. Ideal for compact spaces or expanding social setups with two units. ## Description The Convertible Bench functions as a bench with a back or a bench with a table. Beautiful simulated wood will not fade, warp, or rot from weather exposure like real wood and it requires no special maintenance to look as good as new for many years. Bench seat and tabletop are designed with slats which allow for quick drainage of rain and snow. A one-hand latch mechanism easily converts the back of the bench to a handy table with easy access to bench in just seconds. Very sturdy and stable. Buy one convertible bench to create a handy space saving table, or buy two convertible benches and put them together to form a full-size picnic table. Review: All metal no HPDE - I have just received and assembled my bench. It is all metal. The slats are metal not HPDE. Lifetime must have changed the design. Also all of the slats were already attached to the frame. Assembly took about 30 minutes with only one person. The instructions are very well done. The hardware is packaged in a way that each items is labeled. Each step of assembly shows what tools and what hardware is used. It’s very sturdy and converts easily from table to bench and back again. We are using it in a covered 3 seasons room. I expect to get years of trouble free use. Review: The Swiss Army Knife of Furniture - This isn’t just any ordinary bench or table; it’s like the superhero of my living space! With a faux wood construction that looks real enough to fool my friends (who still think I’m “sophisticated”), this thing can transform faster than a toddler in a candy store! First off, let’s talk about its versatility. One minute, it’s a stylish bench perfect for holding my questionable collection of throw pillows that I bought on impulse. The next minute? It’s a table ready for a game night or a snack attack! I feel like I’m hosting my own version of “Transformers: Furniture Edition.” All I need is a dramatic theme song playing in the background every time I switch its function. And let’s address the faux wood construction—it’s so sleek that my cat has claimed it as her personal throne. I’m pretty sure she thinks she’s royalty now, judging me as I fumble with my dinner while she lounges like the Queen of Sheba. But hey, if my furniture can double as a cat palace and still look classy, I’d say it’s a win-win! Setup? A breeze! I’m convinced I could assemble this in my sleep, even if my sleep-deprived brain would probably forget to use the screws and just hope for the best. But seriously, it was easier to put together than trying to figure out the last puzzle piece of a 1000-piece jigsaw (you know, the one that went missing under the couch). The durability is impressive too. I’ve hosted a few rowdy game nights where snacks and drinks were flying everywhere, yet this bench/table stood firm, as if it were saying, “Bring it on, I’ve got this!” It’s like that friend who can handle any situation with grace—unless that situation involves karaoke, in which case, all bets are off. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a piece of furniture that’s more versatile than a Swiss Army knife and can pull double duty as both a bench and a table, look no further than the Convertible Bench/Table. Just be prepared for your guests to fight over who gets to sit on it first—because once they experience its magic, they’ll be claiming it as their new favorite spot! ## Features - Easy,one-person conversion from bench to table in seconds - Durable, weather-resistant simulated wood - Ultra stable in both positions - The Beauty of Wood without the Maintenance ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00556W6UQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,957 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #6 in Outdoor Benches | | Brand Name | LIFETIME | | Color | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 1,268 Reviews | | Frame Material | Alloy Steel | | Frame Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Furniture Finish | Powder-coated | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00081483009322, 00648614829121 | | Included Components | 60054 Convertible Bench / Table | | Item Depth | 34.9 inches | | Item Dimensions | 14.2 x 34.9 x 55.5 inches | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 33.9"D x 55.5"W x 29.1"H | | Item Type Name | Bench | | Item Weight | 30.6 kg | | Leg Style | Straight | | Manufacturer | Lifetime Products | | Manufacturer Part Number | 60054 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 2-year limited manufacturer warranty. | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 500 pounds | | Model Number | 60054 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Care Instructions | Wipe with Dry Cloth | | Product Dimensions | 33.9"D x 55.5"W x 29.1"H | | Seat Height | 18.8 inches | | Seating Capacity | 3 | | Shape | Rectangular | | Size | 55 Inch | | Style | Bench | | Style Name | Bench | | UPC | 648614829121 081483009322 747719864713 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Color:** Brown - **Frame Material:** Alloy Steel - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Product Dimensions:** 33.9"D x 55.5"W x 29.1"H - **Style:** Bench ## Images ![LIFETIME 60054 Convertible Bench / Table, Faux Wood Construction - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71P3b2-EsgL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: 48.5, 25.5, 8.4 please explain in detail all dimensions? thank you** A: I looked at another website and see the Lifetime 60054 Convertible Bench to be listed, as a table, at 57L x 30W x 34H in. I was interested, but that's too long for the space I intend, so I don't own it, but the Amazon posted length (depth) of 42.5 inches appears to be wrong. **Q: I'm a big guy (300 lbs.- embarrassed to say.. ) Do you think it's sturdy enough to hold me?** A: Absolutely. We have had 3 people at once sitting on this bench with a combined weight of at least 500-550 lbs with no issues. It is very sturdy construction. **Q: Can someone tell me the depth dimensions of this setup as a bench vs. table? Thanks!** A: The bench is 23 1/2" deep as a bench and 33 3/4" deep as a table. This is measured from the front of the seat to the back of the bench/table. The frame is 31" deep and is one solid piece that doesn't change. **Q: How wide and long are the seat and back/table? The description says they are 48" long, but one man said his was 56"... Help! Need width, too!** A: Edge to edge the seat and table are 56 inches. The seat and table are 14.5". This is a very comfortable seat as a bench and as a table it is very easy to get in and out of. Everyone who has seen and sat on ours has wanted to get one for themselves. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All metal no HPDE *by J***R on September 28, 2026* I have just received and assembled my bench.
