This was Amazon's "Deal of the Day", and I paid £4.79. It certainly does seem to be real leather, and for that price, it's an absolute steal. My previous case was a fairly expensive Griffin leather one, and this was the most similar I could find for the 6th gen iPod. There's no fancy packaging, but you do get the leather case, a film screen protector (Which doesn't fit the iPod 6th generation, but I've put on until the glass one I've ordered arrives), and a microfibre cloth. Not a bad bundle, even at full price. It does fit the 6th gen iPod, although there are signs that it's really intended for the 5th gen one as it's got a cut out in the rear for where the 5th gen's carry hook attachment would be. The top and bottom of the plastic cradle which your iPod sits in are fully exposed, so you can access the power button on the top and the Lightning port and headphone socket on the bottom. I'm using Amazon Basics Lightning cables at home, and as you can see, they're a good fit. Leather looks well stitched, and I've not found any odour other than what you'd expect from real leather, unlike some of the more unlucky reviewers who clearly had gallons of fish scented glue used on theirs. It's a decent thickness, and should provide a decent cushioning if your iPod gets dropped from lowish heights. I'm not recommending chucking it off a building, but it should offer protection from a simple fall to the pavement from your hand. The magnetic clasp seems to be doing its job for now. It does hold the case shut, but it's not the firmest closure in the world. In a very unfortunate world, something could still slip between the front cover and the iPod and scratch it. Overall, I like it. I don't love it in the same way I did my Griffin case for the old iPod classic, but this is excellent value for money, and offers good protection.
