This saw is made from renowned Sheffield alloy spring steel. It comes with a handle made from stained European Beech and has brass button screws. The handle is attractive and comfortable in use. The 10" long blade has 13 Teeth Per Inch and is filed for rip cutting making it the perfect saw for cutting joinery. A massive brass back provides rigidity and holds the blade securely. Sometimes you just need something pretty.
Used acetone to remove the lacquer, applied some paraffin, good to go. I suppose a stickler might touch up the sharpening, but really, I doubt I could do better than it already is. Cuts true, if you let it do the work.
