I didn't buy these for myself but to give as Christmas stocking presents so I can't say if they work or not. In any case, it takes time to use up a pencil. But they look nice and are as described and I'm sure will be appreciated.

Purchased as a gift recently so I can only comment on certain aspects of this product.Makes a lovely gift - quality is very good, and even the packaging is good quality.I'm looking forward to planting the pencil eventually. A good mix of herbs and flowers, though my own preference is with herbs. Good to be given sage and thyme, they're among my favourite herbs. I hope they germinate and grow alright!All in all happy, and will update my review when the time comes to plant these guys!

I love the idea of these pencils. That's it pure and simple.

We thought that this product was really clever and cool because you can use the pencil normally and instead of throwing it away when you're finished you can plant it in your garden to keep as a plant.- Edie aged 10 & Bonnie aged 7

I purchased these as gifts for my daughter's teachers and teaching assistants. They were lovingly received and the staff seemed excited and intrigued by them. I thought they were a lovely alternative to flowers and wine and a little project for them to enjoy. Each pencil has a lovely comment engraved as well as the plant name. I have to admit I will be purchasing some for myself too. I love the idea behind these.

This was a gift which was greatly appreciated. The pencils have lovely sentences on the side of them. Good value for money.

Lovely thoughtful gift but the ends break/crack before you finish using the pencil and results in seeds everywhere but where you want them to be ie in the soil

Los mejores lápices que he tenido... Llegaron en perfecto estado y cuando abrí la cajita estaba más feliz que una perdiz!! Son espectaculares, con frase motivadoras grabadas en cada uno de ellos, escriben perfectamente, muy estéticos, y lo mejor que tienen una cápsula para poder plantarlos una vez se vayan agotando, de hecho, los vendedores on tan majos que te envían la guía al correo electrónico de cómo plantar... Y encima ecológicos! No puedo estar más encanta, y se agradece enormemente de que alguien apueste por este tipo de proyectos para un mundo mejor para tod@s. Los volveré a comprar sin dudarlo conforme se me vayan agotando.
