Very nice hitch for the money. I’ll keep it rust free by adding a little oil to the chrome pins once in a while. That seems to be the biggest complaint.Note: Part numbers in the description might be confusing. Returned the 6” drop hitch thinking it would be the 10” drop due to the reversed part numbers. So… the cheaper one will be the 6” drop ($199 at the time) and the more expensive one will be the 10” drop ($209 at the time).Locking pin set for the Hitch and Ball mount is Fastway 86-00-4225.

I do really like this hitch, but it's not holding up very well after a few months. It is very well built and strong. However, after 2 months the chrome pins and hardware that mount the two pieces together is already showing rust just from being out in the rain a few times. I live in GA so no salt and this was mid summer. There is also rust showing inside the holes that the pins go in. The other complaint I have is the finish has already faded from the sun. It's a very low quality powdercoat or paint that has faded dramatically. When I removed it from the truck the other day the covered portion of the shank looked black and the exposed portion almost looked gray in comparison. Not anywhere near as glossy as it was 2 months ago when installed.Overall, I do like the hitch and it is extremely strong, but I'm disappointed in the overall quality of the finish and very surprised to see rust forming in 2 months. I have had a uhaul hitch for 6 years and showing no rust or fading and it was only $25. I expect better for what this hitch costs.

Amazon needs to fix there descriptions to match part. I am having trouble with grounding issues. But other than that great hitch.

I really like this hitch it’s very flexible and heavy duty. It would have been over the top purchase if it came with one locking pin for the balls. It’s a different size than the one for the hitch. Bought a generic set of locks I liked assuming the ball pins were standard. Wouldn’t worry but people steal things and it looks like the ball portion is difficult or impossible to replace if stolen.

haven't used it yet as it just arrived, It is a heavy beast I'm sure it will work great. But I ordered a 6" and got the 10" like most of the reviews, you would think someone would fix the ordering system to where we get the size we ordered too much of a hassle to return it though.Update: now that I have had the hitch a while (5 months) and got to use it to tow with I've had to drop it one star, I've included pictures, these were taken after 5 months on my truck and only having been used to tow during one hunting trip, notice all the rust and especially the very thin chrome peeling off after only one use. Yes the hitch is heavy and strong but expect it to look like crap in short order.

I have used this product for sometime now, pulling several different trailers. Very solid construction. It pulls my 7 ton trailer with 9K of tractor and attachments with no issues.
