Good little stick for the price. I have predominantly hard floors I.e. Wooden and tiled with a couple of short piled rugs. This is perfect for getting out quickly, hoovering up swiftly to tidy up which is really what I bought it for and keep a good hoover for that spring clean as the battery life is only around 15-20 mins. It is enough to fly round my bungalow, lovely for sweeping under the furniture and very light weight. Like all stick hoovers, they are glorified or the new age sweepers which are motorised. So if you need a vacuum cleaner, then don't buy a stick. Simple as that. The suction is great and it cleans the low piled carpets but I would not recommend this stick for cleaning carpets as it says it is for hard floors. But in terms of a sweeper it is great, fast, easy to use and has great suction. Good and versatile for quickly changing for cleaning the furniture, etc.

I bought this vac to spot clean and to my surprise its very good. I noticed other complain it loses suction, which it does after being use for a while... but when you empty it take out the filter, remove the inner filter tap it out and remove the fine dust it traps... reassemble and suction is back. I was impressed with the carpet head, it look strange but its very effective on carpets.... for a &80 machine this is recommended to pick up for a quick job.... would like to purchase a spare battery though..

We have had a cordless Dyson since the first model was nreleased. After having to replace several expensive parts(one part that cost the same as tniis cordless hoover) we decided to try another brand after studing them for weeks we have chosen this Eureka model. I have never written a review as quicly. The suction on this hoover is fantastic, I mean truly amazing. We have a small black dog with a chocolate brown carpet. We thought our Dyson picked up the small amount of hair she shed....it did not. I just filled the whole dirt chamber hoovering one bedroom and hall. Well done for a cordless hoover that is a quarter of the price of a Dyson. Don't get me wrong it could be lighter but if you purchase a cordless hoover for suction get this.

not super powerful suction power but ok if you only do a home every week. battery lasts several hours on a full charge. need to empty it after every room.

Loved it right after I got this. It did an amazing job on my wooden floors and oak staircase. Battery life was borderline acceptable with 20 mins, which was just enough for a 2 bed semi. Suction was also much better than expected. Having said all that, the unit refused to be charged after 9 weeks (12 charges). Returned to Amazon and got Vax Slimvac, which hopefully will last longer.

Don't buy if you're expecting it to pick up dog hair!!!!! It's ok for crumbs etc, but doesn't give a powerful suction to catch or lift anything else. It hasn't got a brushbar, more like a sponge roller.....so there's no deep cleaning only surface bits and pieces. Cheap but it is a waste of money in my opinion. Fully charged battery only lasted for half an hour.

Delivery and contents were as advertised. The head is a sponge type material and is ok for short haired carpets and floors but not so good for deep pile>

Brush attachment locking failed so I had to tape it !!!!
