It is not distracting and I wore it for hours before remembering I was wearing it. I am super sensitive to lipstick, and I have never found a pigmented product that does not dry my lips out, or just wipe off immediately. This is a happy medium to me. I'm fair skinned with a pink/red tone and freckles. I look best in mauve and nude colors. I chose the Nude Honey, and it's a good color for me. The more you put on, the darker it gets. It won't stay on through eating, but it doesn't wipe off when taking a drink of something, and I didn't need a mirror to apply it. I would normally never spend $19 on a lip product, but I figured maybe that's why I'm never happy, and Clinique products are normally very good quality. So I gave it a shot. I'm happy, but I'll try to find sales when I can.
