I wore this on a cold night and good enough to keep me warm with just a t-shirt on underneath but not overly-hot due to the breathable zip-openings under the arms. Rode for over an hour and got home not sweaty at all compared to a pakka waterproof from Mountain Warehouse that had me sweating in less than half the time. I haven't worn it in the rain yet but I'm sure it will do the job. I bought a large, I generally buy large and the fit is fine. Again, in comparison to the Mountain Warehouse pakka for which I've had to buy a medium and even that seems oversized so if you buy the size you generally buy for tops and jackets, you should be fine. So I will wear a nice wool jumper underneath in wet and cold weather. I bought a size larger than I needed just so I could do exactly this. Zips seem good as do pull cords Velcro cuffs and a high neck collar. Reflectors are very good and keep the cars at bay in the dark along with my numerous lights. So far I think it’s great. I am 5’ 8’’ and weigh 13.5 stone a bit plump XL is best fit I got XXL to make sure I had more options.
