Review: Perfect Portable Cooking Solution for On the Go - I really appreciate the versatility this single burner adds to my cooking routine. As a truck driver, I love it because it has made it easy for me to cook without the need for gas—no more worrying about finding a gas source or dealing with fumes. The 1000W power heats up quickly and the 7.25-inch cast iron hot plate heats evenly, making cooking efficient and convenient. The 5-level temperature control allows me to easily adjust the heat for different dishes, and the compact size makes it perfect for small spaces or when I’m on the go. The stainless steel base is stylish and easy to clean, which makes cleanup a breeze after cooking. It feels well-built and durable, and I believe it will last a long time with proper care. One minor con is that the power cord could be a bit longer for more flexibility in placement. I used it with an extension cord to give myself some extra reach and to keep it safely away from walls and other surfaces. Overall, this cooktop is a great addition to my kitchen or outdoor setup—efficient, reliable, and easy to use. It’s been a game-changer for me on the road! Works almost exactly like the small electric burners of a free standing stove. Follow the instructions when using it the first time and run it outside for 5 minutes on high. Does put off a smell. Turns any medium size pan with a cover into a slow cooker for beans or what ever. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ better for beakers than cooking *by A***R on July 5, 2026* Great for formulating cosmetics, but the temp can get pretty hot quickly. For boiling water it doesn't get hot enough to boil, but it does get hot enough to still soften noodles. No regrets, I like mine. ## Frequently Bought Together - OVENTE Electric Countertop Single Burner, 1000W Cooktop with 7.25 Inch Cast Iron Hot Plate, 5 Level Temperature Control, Compact Cooking Stove and Easy to Clean Stainless Steel Base, Black BGS101B - Elite Gourmet EDB-302BF Countertop Double Cast Iron Burner, 1500 Watts Electric Hot Plate, Temperature Controls, Power Indicator Lights, Easy to Clean, Black - OVENTE Countertop Infrared Single Burner, 1000W Electric Hot Plate with 7” Ceramic Glass Cooktop, 5 Level Temperature Setting & Easy to Clean Base, Compact Stove for Home Dorm Office, Silver BGI101S --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/91697616-electric-cast-iron-single-burner-1000w-hot-plate-black-bgs101b](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/91697616-electric-cast-iron-single-burner-1000w-hot-plate-black-bgs101b) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
