Great for beginning readers!
We came across this at a gaming convention and the kids really enjoyed it. They are just learning to read and write, and this game is great for practicing some simple reading, counting, and matching colors and patterns. The small connecting pieces on the "spell book" were a little smashed even right when we opened it, so I just cut them off and used two strips of Gorilla tape to bind the pieces together (leaving a couple millimeters between the pieces to allow it to fold). The spell book now folds like a book, and I think it looks pretty nice. The cards themselves and the box are of good quality, and the box is big enough to allow for some expansions, but not outrageously big.

So much fun!
Absolutely great game! My nephew loved it so much I bought him his own game and he takes it to school all the time for any downtime during play practice.

9-year-old loves this game!
9-year-old needs a little help with the words. The rules are a little complicated (noticably harder than "Uno") & if your players catch each other, skipping a step, there's a penalty.Enjoyable, but "choose your princess" might be a little bit of a challenge to your macho sensibility. My family seems to gets a laugh out of watching me choose.Only other draw-back is that it takes 4 or more people playing, to use about 1/2 the cards. You don't even see the other 1/2, unless you get curious. It would have been nice for the Listing to let us know, before-hand.I have enough games, my paranoia makes me put the "harder to find replacements" ones, in card protecters. We hand-painted the cards' back design on the protectors. It was a bit of a craft project, which might make the protectors more work than some people like. Face-down, the backs display your princesses' castle towers. (No worries about sticky fingers, this way, however.)

Fun for adults too.
I’m part of the Sparkle Kitty fan club. My daughter, 7 years old, really enjoys this game. It’s fun, she’s learning new words (on the cards), learning strategy and having a great time in the process. This is one of the few games that I really enjoy playing with my kids.

Great Buy
Loved: its super fun to play with my nieces. It’s easy to explain and take part in. Some of the mechanics are similar to UNO so it’s good for the kiddos to be able to relate to it.Improvements: the instructions good be written in an easier way

Even our 3 year old could play and win!
Great game, even a pre-reader who can recognize letters can play and win! Fun for parents and kids. Similar to uno, but with a goal and some sinister strategy. We have 2 girls, so the princessy theme is excellent. They ask to play this game every night.

It’s enjoyable.
Great game! My daughter enjoy it a lot. At the beginning I though it was going to be difficult to learn but it wasn’t.
