Allegra Intensive Relief Anti-Itch Cream, 1 Ounce

I've used this cream in the past, and it really does stop itchy insect bites. I was disappointed, though, in that the seller sent 2-0.5 ounce tubes, and both tubes expire in April 2018. That doesn't seem like a long time. I would have expected and preferred a much later expiration date.

OK I admit I should have read the listing more closely than I did. I was lured by the brand name Allegra and impulsively bought it. This anti-itch cream most definitely does not contain Allegra as the active ingredient. Diphenhydramine is the active ingredient, so this product is a BENADRYL cream that also contains allantoin. It feels much silkier and sinks in better than cheaper benadryl creams I've used for hives and mosquito bites which is a big plus, and it's not at all greasy. It's OK, just misleading. Three stars for deception.

This is the best cream. My elderly mother’s arm was extremely dry and itchy. Within two days it totally cleared up. One of her in-home nurses had several mosquito bites that were quite swollen and itchy. We gave her a tube. She text me the next day saying it was like a miracle. By the evening of the day she applied the Allegra cream the bites no longer bothered her and swelling had decreased.

I ordered two silver chains and put them on right away. Two days later I had a bad rash around my neck. I had been wear silver earrings and thought my allergy to silver had gone away. Unfortunately, I can only wear nickel free silver.The rash itched horribly and it seemed to get worse. I ordered the Allegra and got it in two days. It stopped the itching and oozing. My rash dried up in two days and by the fourth it was gone. I was delighted.

This product was fantastic but for some reason they took it off the market. Does anyone know why?

I have no idea what I'm allergic to but every spring my allergies flare up and I get a rash on my arms and neck for about 3 weeks. I've tried dozens of products and this is the only one that helps (none of the others even made a difference!). Within minutes of applying the cream the rash stops itching, which means I scratch less, which means it clears up faster overall.

Eh, works only about half as good as reviews said. This barely got the edge off. I will not buy it again, I am sure there is something that works better. I will use it up just not get more.

We like being able to find the Allegra. We drove all over Tallahassee looking for it, to no avail. Ordering and having it delivered was great. Cliff uses it for sicorises and a rash he has. It works the best of all he has tried.
