Didn’t fit. Very disappointing.
Did not fit the weber charcoal go anywhere. I had to return it. Very disappointing. I really wanted this to work. The build quality seemed fine, just wasn’t quite manufactured correctly.Edit: I really wanted this so I ordered another one. This one did fit, but barely! But the motor didn’t work! Amazon sent another kit right away and I swapped the motor and returned the defective motor. As other reviewers said, the battery cover eventually broke. Put some masking tape on it.That being said, I love the unit and use it all the time. But you need to really, really want it to put with the manufacturing defects and try to get a working unit.

Simple to assemble
Not much trouble for putting it together, cept for one hole that just wouldn't align on the motor mount (center) no matter how much I tried, it just wouldn't happen. And somehow I missed the part in the description about it being battery operated (1.5 volt x3) batteries. We'll see how it works, otherwise it's going backUpdate 6/11/23, as you can see the results, I believe I'm happy with it. Also, I decided to go with an electric rotisserie motor for home grilling.

Works perfectly
Works and fits great! Used it about 5 times so far, and really enjoy it.

Didn't fit very well at all.
The quality seems fine, but the riser section comes in 2 halves, and once it was assembled it didn't fit. I had to remove he bottom screw and drill a new hole on the opposite end from the motor mount, then readjust the motor mount end several times before the riser would fit in to the grill base. The spit rod is in 2 pieces, and doesn't stay tightened. I guess it is a hit or miss on being a 5 star or lower rating based on other reviews.

Makes your WSM more versatile.
I bought one of these, but it did not fit my Weber Go Anywhere. Amazon was very helpful in resolving the issue. With my grinder, drill, and a high heat rubber band I was able to get the riser to fit. Other than the fit the rotisserie kit is worth considering for your WSM.(I am adding a pic of a 5 pound chicken using this rotisserie. I also realized something as soon as I put the spit on the riser. The breast should have been opposite the charcoal because the legs and thighs are better at 180 degrees and the breast at 165 degrees. Regardless the chicken still came out delicious.)

Not As Advertised!
It claims to be stainless steel, but ONLY the surround that sits on top of the Go Anywhere grill is stainless. The cheezy Chinese junk spit rod is two piece, (which I don't care for, I like one piece rods.) The kicker is that it is cheaply and poorly chrome plated crap, and IMO, not suitable for food service. I will say that the spit rod is actually almost dangerous. While screwing the two-piece spit rod sections together, and cinching the two halves up to align the square spit rod sections, (and only using pliers,) I noticed the cheap chrome plating coming off at the joint. I made the mistake of running my finger over it and was rewarded with small chrome metal splinters in my finger. Had to get my loupe and fine tweezers to extract them from my finger. Ugh!!! No way I would slide food onto that rod with that going on! I don't care to eat chrome metal shavings. The mostly plastic rotisserie motor is a total joke. It is so gutless that it would hardly turn over without a spit rod in it. I guess that's what you get when it runs on 2 D cells. The stainless shell itself is held together by small 5M metric machine screws and on the inside they supply wingnuts! Seriously, wingnuts on the inside to make it that much harder to clean after use. I replaced the wingnuts with regular 5M metric stainless steel nuts. Getting back to the cheezy spit rod, guess what happened next to it? Yep, it broke right on the threads where the two halves screw together. It never saw service, not even once, which is probably good. I most probably be digging my meat out of the fire. So now I don't even have a spit rod to use. I have since ordered a new spit kit, with a real electric motor and I'll have to modify the whole shebang to make it useable. There goes another 100 bucks to buy a real one-piece stainless steel spit rod and all the rest of the kit components that come with it. I like the concept of this thing, and I will use it, (but not until my new $100 spit kit parts come in.) It's a shame that they had to cheapen it down the way they did. In short, I would NOT recommend it. Exceptionally poor quality components, and certainly not worth the price. More trouble than it's worth.
