Used this in Paris 2-23-2019 in heavy tear gas. Excellent. Able to work despite billows of gas. It is a bit difficult to shoot photos (I'm a photojournalist) due to the shape of the face mask, but with practice it is manageable. I strongly advise practicing putting it on several dozen times before you need to use it.

It appears to be a quality piece of gear,and if it performs as well as the specs indicate,it will be more than worth the investment.It's lightweight, compact,and very ergonomic.It's a quantum leap over gas masks of the last century!!!

Works as advertised. I bought a few of these for my family. I wanted to test them to make sure they do as they are supposed to. I used a mestel filter, rated for CBRN. I donned the mask and had cigarette & marijuana smoke, blown directly on the filter. The air coming from the filter was clean and had zero traces of any smell or smoke. I also used this mask in a smoke filled room and it worked perfectly.I have somewhat of a melon-head, and the mask fits well. It also fits my wife who has a smaller head and my little brother who is somewhat of a munchkin.Be sure to buy good filters. Amazing product , fitment perfect , no fogging , sealed quickly , I was able to train at the range just to see how efficient, effective it was at moving and jumping over obstacles.. Better than the military equipment.. I’m former military/private military contractor...

Bought on of these for my stopover in detroit, got arrested for terrifying local school children. Great for use in public toilets though, so 3/5
