bought 2, 1 had a hole right inside of main doorway.
Ok, I'm aiming this directly at Vango's quality inspection process and NOT amazon. Amazon took care of me. As the title states I bought 2. Both arrived at the same time. I pitched one and it seemed ok. I pitched the second one and there was what looks like burn/melt marks about 2 feet inside of the main door. Within the melted area there are holes where I can see light through making it no longer "waterproof" as stated in Vango's description. I haven't had a chance to camp in it yet but will put it through its paces here in soon. After that trip I may add or delete a star. I'll post an update at the end of August.

Gutted - 'Lights Out' Useless. Freezing Cold. Worst Night's Sleep In A Tent in 40+ Years
We bought this because we have had Vango tents in the past and wanted a great tent with darker sleeping areas for a 3-week trip to the Alps this summer. It's going back after one night - thank goodness we tested it at home before we travelled. The 'lights out' functionality is non-existent.My kids complained, unprompted, this morning that it was the worst night's sleep they have ever had in a tent, because it was so light. It's much lighter than any previous Vango tent I have used.In 40+ years of camping, I have never slept in such a light tent, from any brand. At 9:30 last night, I could still easily read a book, without a light. I have never been able to do that in a tent before. At 5:30 this morning, it was impossible to sleep, because it was so light (despite being a cloudy day). See the photo from the inside of the sleeping area, showing at 5:30 this morning, showing how light it was...The tent sleeping inners bear no resemblance to the Amazon photo, which shows black material on at least the front internal door. As you can see from my photo, it's light green and nearly see-through.I contacted Vango today, assuming this was a packing error, and they have confirmed that this is their 'lights out' tent design. It isn't fit for purpose. The other major problem is how cold this tent gets. My 12 year old is a seasoned camper in the UK, from April to October. He froze last night (mid-July). The mesh roof on the sleeping area is, according to my discussions today with Vango, to aid ventilation. But it also means your sleeping area is at the same temperature as the interior of the tent. It doesn't warm up at all. It gets far too cold.It has good points:* a great design* spacious inside* fully sewn-in groundsheet, so no bugsLike other reviewers, I'm concerned about durability. The tent made some scary creak / snap / pop sounds during the first installation and my kids (used to putting up tents) were scared of snapping the poles. But I bought it because we wanted a better night's sleep under canvas. It delivers the opposite.Really gutted. After months of research I really had thought this tent would be great.

Disappointing durability
Goodpoints : Very easy to put up and take down (no hassle getting in the bag). Nice and spacious, we like the lay out of the pods not all being next to each other. No water leakage when heavy rain happened.Bad points : The pods at either end are not properly divided into 2+2 compartments, there is just a flimsy bit of fabric to hang in the pod which can cause personal space issues for teenagers! This does give flexibility I suppose to have a large room (4per) with no divider in though. Lacks the blackout inners like Coleman do.Main down side is durability, we have bought and returned this tent twice because a seam along the zip to an inner pod has ripped. First time we thought one off defect, but twice in same place is a design fault. We even left some of the pod ties undone to reduce tension on the seams, there wasn't misuse or extreme weather, Disappointing, next tent won't be a Vango.

A spacious and comfortable tent that kept us dry
We had planned on buying a tent in the winter sales but when this one came up in the Prime Day sales (at circa £250) we decided to bite the bullet and bought it. We have just used it for the first time in Ireland and Wales so thought i would share our experience. We practiced putting it up in the garden before we went away. After watching a couple of videos online, it didn't take long to put it up even with the very excited kids (2 and 4) jumping in and out of it before we were finished! So off we went on holiday. The tent is very spacious for the four of us which made the experience even better. There are pockets inside the accommodation sections where books, car keys, torches etc can be stored. There are plenty of rings to hang things from like lights and clothing which were also useful. The best thing - it kept us dry. After a 24 hour deluge of rain whilst in Wales, there wasn't a sign of a leak or any water ingress. Even though it sounded it like it at times during the night, after a look around, not a sign of a puddle or anything. Mightily impressed! The only downside is that it doesn't have a cover over the entrance so little wet feet coming in and out can cause so water to come in but I understand that there are awnings that can be bought which could sort this. All in all, a very good purchase and would recommend it

Great buy great price just need better ventilation
My new review after more use...I changed how to use the tent but there was no difference to the amount of water on the inside of the fabric after it rained, this is common apparently but just not for me.On the good side it is a really good tent.My previous review:This tent is absolutely brilliant it’s very large the rooms are darker material which does make a big difference for laying in, in the morning. One problem I did have was the condensation on the inside of the tent it seems that the ventilation is too low and the flow doesn’t seem to be enough to take your breath out of the tent at night time however I suppose the benefit of this is that it was really warm overnight temperature was 7° but the tent was really warm inside, downside to this obviously was the amount of condensation on the inside fabric of the tent.I have research this issue and found that storing the wet clothes inside the tent contributes massively to this issue so it’s probably just a user error however there are vents at the top and at the top of the tent should be larger and at the top
