Lensmate Thumb Grip for Fujifilm X-T3 XT3 - Black

Excellent product! This fit is nice and snug. And most importantly, it adds that extra confidence in my grip on the body without Interfering with the cameras operation. 👍🏾

Perfect for big handsI'm really happy with my Thumb-Grip. It fits perfectly in my xt3.I have big hands and this makes it so much better for holding my camera with one hand.Looks and feels like a high quality product.It is expensive :-)I'm glad I didn't order a cheaper one.Will edit this review if i notice any changes.

Pros:The build quality is excellentFits very snugly and won’t come of accidentally (they fixed the original release)The grip does not put excess sideways pressure on the hot shoe mount because unlike other thumb grips this one actually has rubber which pushes gently up against the body instead of the grip floating in the air.The curvature of the grip is very good and feels ergonomic.The thumb grip also has a comfortable quality rubber portion where you hold it which makes it more comfortable than any other grip I foundThe overall curvature is comfortable and excellent for different length thumbsCons:Significantly more expensive than similar products (at least 3 times as much)The XT3’s wheel under the thumb grip is a bit harder to us now because you can only use the tip of your thumb to scroll it or else the grip obstructs thumb accessNeither pro nor con:Does not attach to hot shoe mount via a screw and while it could theoretically be pulled off with extreme force this also means that if you ever got caught on something with it then it will pose much less of a risk of damaging your camera by bending the hot shoe mount (although that could theoretically always happen with any product). I found this thumb grip to protrude a lot less so it is therefore also less likely to get caught on something than another product I tried which does have a screw.

A well made thumb grip. A lilies tight sliding it on the hot shoe with the EVF eyecup in place, but it works! Nice and solid, improves the handling of the camera even though you have to be a little more precise when using the back command.

I like the grip. It helps me steady my X-T3 with a 100-400 mm zoom. Why 3 stars? On a recent birding expedition into Mexico it fell off and now lives in a dusty field near Sayulita, Jalisco. I wear my camera on my side and it hangs from a harness. It’s possible that rubbing the camera on my body caused the problem, but I had a thumb grip from the same company on my X-T2 and I used the same harness and have never lost it.

Update: The folks at Lensmate came through! So after sending in my poorly-fitting grip they let me know that it was part of a batch that was out of spec due to changes in Fuji’s hotshoe mount tolerances, and mailed me a replacement. The new grip fits amazingly well, snug and perfect. Changing this to solid five stars but leaving the old review for reference.So I used to have one of these grips for my old X-T1 and thought I’d give it a try for my new camera as well. Unfortunately the grip does work itself off the camera as you keep using it because it’s just ever so slightly smaller than the hot shoe mount and it’s not a snug fit (kind of important for something like this). Exchanging it has also been an adventure since Lensmate ships you a label by mail instead of sending you a file to print like every other company. It’s easier to just order a new one instead of waiting for their exchange department to get a move on. Or actually, just don’t buy this grip at all.

Doesn’t fit

I didn't realize exactly how much I've come to rely on this product when using my camera until I removed it to put a flash in place. It makes hand holding your camera so much easier and more secure. When I get a new camera at some point, I'm 100% sure I'll be buying another!
