This worked exactly as expected, you can plug it directly into your PC 3.5mm jacks and it works immediately with good quality audio out of the box for a generic ''headset mic'', though for my needs, I needed to buy a Rode 3.5mm to XLR transformer to attach the microphone to my Xenyx USB interface.Doing this added so much clarity to my recorded voice - it is very impressive.To note, the noise isolation is also fantastic, I sit 90 degrees from my wife at about 5 feet away (so, close), and only when she gets very loud can the microphone pick her up. We work from home and working side-by-side it was imperative that the mic didn't activate every time she spoke. I turned the gain down on my interface and adjusted the highs slightly on my EQ and now it sounds amazing. Very professional.Shame this mic doesn't easily transfer to other devices, the shroud to the jack going into the headset is bulky, designed to be fitted for the Custom One headphones. For intrigue, I tried some devices with 3.5mm jacks that I had laying around and it does fit into my 3.5mm jack on my desktop PC.But, naturally this is carrying 2 channels of audio, mic in and audio out and was merely test the physical connection.I am actually looking to replace my custom one pro headphones for something lighter, I'll update the review once I determine if my new headphones work with this mic.

Using with the Phillips Fidelio X2. I was using a cheap Logitech mic before this and I always got complaints from everyone. But since I got this, zero negative comments. Fantastic mic to add on to any kind of stereo headset. Sure it sits a little low, but the adjustable arm works fine. 100% quality mic. Buy it.

Considering some of these are going for almost half the price of the headset, is it really worth it? I had to purchase a new one because the tip of the aux cable started to bend and cause hearing problems. If you didn’t have to purchase the microphone with it and could replace the end, it would save you tons of money. Instead, this is what you get. Glad to know new wireless headsets are coming out. Don’t waste your money!

Ich habe mich für das Beyerdynamic und gegen den Platzhirsch Boom Pro von V-Moda entscheiden, weil Letzteres etwas zu filigran auf mich wirkte. Verheiratet wurde das Mikrofon mit einem Philips Fidelio 2XHR.Meine Eindrücke:- Kann problemlos am Philips Fidelio 2XHR und wahrscheinlich allen anderen Kopfhörern betrieben werden, bei denen der Klinkenanschluss einseitig ausgeführt wird (Philips Fidelio 3X ist bspw. nicht kompatibel) und absolut offen liegt (versenkte Klinkenanschlüssen sind möglicherweise inkompatibel).- Die Arretierung am Kopfhöreranschluss - vorgesehen für diverse Gaming-Kopfhörer von Beyerdynamic, ist natürlich an anderen Kopfhörern nutzlos, weil diese dort ins Leere greift. Das bedeutet, dass sich das Mikrofon einfach zum oder vom Mund wegdrehen lässt. Für hyperaktive Nutzer kann das ein Nachteil sein, mir passiert es aber nur selten, dass ich das Mikrofon verdrehe. Ansonsten ist dieser Nachteil sogar praktisch: Man kann das Mikrofon bequem weg drehen, wenn man es gerade nicht braucht, aber parat halten möchte.- Kabel, Mikrofonarm, Kapsel und Kabelfernbedienung sind ... seriös. Zurückhaltendes, funktionales aber doch ansprechendes Design, und vor allem robust. Wer bisher Gaming-Ohrdosen gewohnt war, kann über die Dicke des Kabels und des Mikrofonarms erstaunt sein.- Das Kabel ist weniger nervig als das gute aber textilummantelte Standardkabel des Philips Fidelio 2XHR. Ich bilde mir auch ein, dass Sound ein wenig besser geworden ist (aber das ist wahrscheinlich nur eine subjektive Spinnerei). Die Länge des Kabels ist ausreichend, vielleicht einen Hauch zu kurz (aber auch an meinen großen Schreibtisch nicht kritisch).- Die Kabelfernbedienung ist robust und funktional. Der Mikrofonschalter ist gut erreichbar und klickt befriedigend, der Lautstärkeregle dreht angenehm, dürfte aber etwas breiter und daumenschmeichelnder sein. Für mich ist die Kabelfernbedienung etwas ungünstig positioniert, da sie bei mir schon mal unangenehm zwischen Brust und Oberarm gerät (aber das ist von der individuellen Sitzposition abhängig).- Der Popschutz hat für mich im Sprachtest keinen Unterschied gemacht, also habe ich diesen weg gelassen. So passt das Mikrofon optisch noch ein bisschen besser zum Philips Fidelio 2XHR (die beiden wirken fast wie füreinander gemacht). Aber wer einen Popschutz braucht, es liegt einer bei.- Inbetriebnahme unter Windows war problemlos. Einstöpseln und sich freuen, dass das Mikrofon keinen Tritt mit dem Gain-Regler braucht, um in ordentlicher Lautstärke aufzunehmen.- Das wichtigste zum Schluss: Die Sprachqualität ist für ein Mikrofon dieser Bauart sehr gut. Ich habe noch Sprachsamples von meinen alten Headsets herumliegen, und die waren alle in Ordnung. Das Beyerdynamic ist merklich besser. Runder, klarer, ausgewogener. Wie erwähnt muss man dem Beyerdynamic keinen Tritt geben, um eine vernünftige Lautstärke zu erreichen, so dass die ungewollte Aufnahme von Störquellen minimiert wird.Zuvor hatte ich diverse Headsets aus den Steelseries Arctis und Astro Gaming Serien. Meine Kombination aus Philips Fidelio 2XHR und eben diesem Mikrofon ist in den Hauptdisziplinen deutlich überlegen.Es wäre aber absolut ideal gewesen, wenn das Mikrofon ein sehr kurzes Kabel hätte, vielleicht nur bis zur Kabelfernbedienung. Dann könnte man das Mikrofon auch mal bequem ganz weg lassen und nur bei Bedarf zwischenschalten, anstatt es irgendwie um die Ohrmuschel herum zu biegen, wenn man es gerade nicht braucht (ich brauche es nur zurzeit an den Wochenenden). Trotzdem fünf Sterne für ein gutes Produkt.

I have a Sennheiser GSP 500 that produces excellent sound, but feel the mic is not quite up to the quality of the cans themselves. I recently bought the Philips Fidelio X2HR to use with my HI-FI and they produce an excellent sound stage and were comfortable to use that I decided to hook them up to my PC via my Sennheiser GSX1000 and was blown away with the 2.0 and 2.0HD sound from music. I tried them out on 7.1 too and they worked brilliantly that I decided to keep them on the PC. Hence, I looked around at mic options to turn them into a headset and decided to go with Beyerdynamic as it replaces your headphone cable completely with an integrated adjustable boom mic. The quality of the sound is excellent where friends thought I was on a professional radio mic and work colleagues immediately commented on the clarity. Very pleased as I now have what I consider a premium headset. For those interested if not in the description, it uses a condenser transducer (back electret) with a cardioid polar pattern and a frequency response of 30 - 18,000 Hz.

cable/micro de qualité pour remplacer le micro intégré au fil du Custom One Pro Plus. Le son est très bon en appel téléphonique, reconnu parfaitement sur plusieurs smartphones Android (non testé avec un iPhone) et sur une prise combo micro casque de Pc portable.Le câble ne s'emmêle pas trop mais à tendance à accrocher la poussière et les vêtements ... Il est assez épais et semble solide.La télécommande n'a qu'un seul bouton, le volume peut être réglé à l'aide d'une petite molette qui est correcte, sauf à très bas volume ou un côté a moins de son que l'autre.
