Phase setting is zero when combined with the Cambridge Audio satellite speakers. The settings are straight forward compared with the variations available on the Marantz and it really is worth persisting with these to get the best out of the setup. I didn't want a huge big ugly box in the living room, nor a boomy sub that would keep everyone awake at night. This is perfect. It looks tiny, it looks great in white with a glossy finish - can be easily hidden away or be on show in a modern living room. Most importantly, it sounds fantastic. With the three drivers (one active, two passive) it makes the utmost of its tiny form factor. But it adds the right amount of perfectly clean, tight and deep bass to a 5m x 5m room. Great for music, and great for TV/Movies as part of an AV setup.
