**Q: Is the opal real?**
A: No, the opal is not real and it looks VERY fake.  I'm giving the ring to my granddaughter.

A: No

**Q: Does the black fade off the ring after a few months?**
A: I wait tables, so my hands are in and out of water. The black did fade into a rose gold color, but it took awhile for it to do so.
