IRIS USA 19" Cat Carrier, Extra Small Pet Carrier Hard, Dog Kennel with 2-Door Front and Top Access, Dog Carrier, up to 10 pounds, White/Almond

I've been searching for a two-door carrier with latching sides (as opposed to screws) and thought this would fit the bill. I've read too many horror stories about the top or front latch popping open as the carrier flexed due to the pet's weight, so I wanted to make sure this would securely handle our 10-pound cat.When I manually applied a small amount of pressure to the bottom of the carrier, the door immediately popped out of its top socket. With my 10-pound cat inside, the carrier flexed badly enough that I'm pretty sure one sudden move from a panicked cat will pop the door. The door has additional plastic "latches" at the top and bottom that are supposed to prevent this from happening, but since the carrier itself is flexing, these don't help at all.I'm returning this and continuing my search for a solid carrier.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this item. Without my cat even in the carrier I lifted the carrier and the door popped out of its socket! Can you imagine if I were at the airport? This is every pet owners nightmare. Do not even consider purchasing this item.

This is very cheaply made. The factors are flimsy. No place to add bots. Falls apart if pet is inside. The lock on the top is non secure. The plastic is half the thickness of another crate purchased for less money. Waste of money. If there was a zero rating I would use it.

Arrived broken and missing clips but since it was sent to my son at a University he never told me. Just found out now, when he needs it to prepare for evacuations from University of North Florida! I wasted the money and never even knew it until 4 months later when he attempted to use it.

Our cat is not fond of carriers , and trying to front load her would try the patience of a saint. However, with this carrier, she doesn't mind being put into the carrier from the top. When we had to take her to the vet, we loaded, unloaded, and reloaded her without any trouble. When she got home, she hopped out of the carrier without any fussing. It made all our lives much easier.

BEWARE DO NOT BUY. This is very cheaply made. Fell apart with my 4lb yorkie inside. The lock on the top is non secure. It was missing the front gate, total Waste of money and can not use it. If there was a zero rating, that’s what I’d leave. Horrible

I ordered 6 of these. 3 of them were perfectly fine. They were easy to assemble and all parts were functioning. The other 3 were NOT. One was completely busted and broken I couldn't even put it together. The other one had a defective top door and the 3rd one had a defective front door.Overall I am highly dissatisfied with how my package was handled.

This was not the worth the price paid extremely small d does not seem to be medium size . I have 6 pound Shih Tzu who literally had to squeeze to get him to fit in this was hassle with returning this z it’s a waste do waste your time or money
