It started nice and went downhill.
I got this for annual training and long bike trips. It is as big as a cell phone which means that it can be carried on my cell phone bike bag and get a solar charge. It charges on cloudy days, through windows, and I even got it to charge under a light last night. I put it under my cell phone bike bag display plastic and it started to charge.Update 7/3/2017:It stopped working after a while. I'd charge with the USB and it wouldn't hold a charge anymore. Too bad.

Everything went down hill fast!
Update 7-14-2016 * Still no contact from customer service. Device is beginning to swell. Not sure it would be safe to ship back at this point. Would likely be a hazard. Would like a replacement or my money back. Very poor service from this company.Update 2-11-16 * Still no contact from customer service. So much for the 100% satisfaction guarantee.Update 1-26-2016 * This appeared to be a good product at first. However, that has changed after only two uses. The power button to activate the flashlight / charge action broke after only two uses. The flashlight now randomly turns on and off just sitting on the table. Unable to charge anything with it now. Will update the review again if customer support replies to my email concerning this issue. 01/26/2016Original Review__--->>>> 12-18-2015 Great backup for charging when on the go.

Great Battery Bank
I am giving this a 5 star rating even though it only partially works. Let me explain....Pro:-As a battery bank this is by far the best product I have used. I get 4 complete charges on my S4 or my Galaxy Note 2 with the bank being fully charged. I used this while playing Pokemon Go on my Galaxy S4 and found that the phone battery stayed charged while I played and I was able to keep going for about 2 hours.-This pack has 2 USB inputs the one to the left (if the USB ports are pointed at you) is the slowest and the one to the right is fast. Charging on the right side port was comparable to using an actual wall charger.-The LED indicators are awesome. They tell me exactly what is going on. Additionally, when the green one is lit you are getting optimal solar charge.-The built in LED flash light on the back is comparable to the light on my S4.Cons:-The charging cable that they provide is short and very specific to the size of the case. The rubber lip at the bottom of the port is thick and you must use a slim ended micro USB plugin. I did find though that a 3, 5 or 6ft cord could charge with no issue. I even used my S4 charger to charge it with no issue.-Charging via plug will take around 8 hours, even with a fast charger.-The solar charging is a joke. In order to charge it 25% the solar would take 8 hours of continuous direct sunlight. I would assume that this would melt if you left it in the car.-The LED flash light could had a clear cover rather than the frosted one. Additionally, the light gets hot. It does last for a few hours.-While this is durable, dropping it even lightly will cause the clip to break off of the back. Which really does not matter as the clip is useless. Will not fit a belt or pants as it is too small. Hence why I dropped it and it fell off.

A handy backup battery.
I tested this battery on my fully discharged iPhone 5. The X-Dragon brought the phone from dead to 63% full in about 20mins. I'm sure it would have key charging if I left it plugged into the phone. The led light has two modes, on and a flashing signal. The light lit up my living room enough for me to easily see where I was going. The cover for the USB ports is a nice feature that isn't available on my mophie battery. The flap of plastic that holds it on will last if you are careful with it. I wouldn't tug on it very hard. It could be a little stronger. The plastic clip could also be a little stronger. I'm sure it will last if not roughly treated. This battery can be clipped easily to a backpack with Mollie equipped. The solar panel works, but it's not the primary way to charge this battery. It would take a long while to charge a phone in direct sunlight, but in an emergency it can help you squeeze a call in.I bought a second X-Dragon for my wife!

As a power backup this is the best one I have used
I will not write a bunch of technical jargon. As a power backup this is the best one I have used. I live in Florida and we subject to Hurricanes, Tropical Storms, and frequent power outages. The power outages can last several hours or days.We do, however, have an abundance sunshine particularly after the storms pass. I have 3 other power banks and this one outperforms all of them. I have no hesitation in recommending this power bank. This power bank performed well beyond my expectations during and after the recent power losses due to Hurricane Matthew.X-DRAGON Solar Charger Power Bank 15000mAh Dual USB Portable Solar Battery Charger for iPhone 6 Plus 5S 5C 5 4S, iPod, Samsung Galaxy S6 S6 Edge, Gopro Camera, GPS and More (10000mAh-Orange)

Performance wise this one seems to work just fine. It charges by Iphone 6 and my goal zero battery pack just fine. The manual though was in English but it was very difficult to make out what it meant. So there's that. Other than that works okay for the price.Update: I have tried a few other cheap Chinese solar batteries but I keep coming back to this one. The only other one I've kept is the larger 15000 mAh capacity as I have heavy GPS use for work. But these X-Dragon ones have a nicer, even area light on the back and the design is comfortable for me. The case is well cushioned and just feels nicer. Cheap enough I can just by two and have 20,000 mAh in my bag! haha All of the Chinese made type ones have slow trickle type solar panels on them. These don't have a lot of surface area to quick charge anyways so a slower one makes sense. That means it will take a number of days of direct sunlight to fully charge the battery. The benefit is that these are cheap and you can buy a bunch if that was the case and keep cycling through them. Downside of course is the Chinese ones have less total number of uses before it craps out. Very affordable though so awesome to have plenty of. Go for Anker and a solid outdoor solar panel if you want to do the whole off grid thing, I like Goal Zero.

One of the USB ports began malfunctioning pretty quick after purchasing. But the other is holding strong and I can get 2.5 chargers for my S9+ off of a full charge.
