Right Gender!!!! Super Easy!
The media could not be loaded. I initially purchased this gender reveal test for fun, because my husband and I did not want to wait a second longer to find out! We did not take it too seriously based on the price and some of the reviews.I followed the instructions exactly and used my first urine of the morning at the week time frame it states. It was so simple and easy to use the dropper to place urine in the little reader. It immediately was showing girl, which we were happy about, but again did not take it too seriously. We have since found out that WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!!!!This inexpensive test was spot on, and I am so happy I purchased it so early on! It was a fun little experiment and was totally worth it!!

does not work.
I bought this to seehow accurate it would be even though I know its a gimmick. I folowed the instructions presisly and the color a purpleish color. The color was not on the girl or boy color spectrum so I contacted the company and they sent me another test. I'm still giving a one star for the fact thatthesecond test showed the exact same results of the purpleish color. Yesterday on 3/17/14 we had an NT scan that our pediatrician recomended to test for defect and proper growth of baby. By doing this we were able to find out the sex of our child(its a girl). We found out on the 13th week and can be done as soon as 12 weeks. In conclusion save your money and and have it professional done and get an NT scan. Yes I know its a dr visit and will be more than the cost of this test but the test is a gimmick, 50/50 chance to be right if it doesnt turn purple then its 0% accuracy.

The male prospective
When we found out we were pregnant my first thought like all males was "I want a boy!". When we were 6 weeks pregnant, I started looking at Gender Maker along with other brands to see if we could get a sneak peak at "boy or girl"... So, being paranoid and crazy all wrapped in one, I figured to buy 5 of these and test the results daily.Day 1: blue/gray color, then turned to pink. We stared at it for 30 minutes.. Great, a failure so we thought.Day 2: dark blue within 30 secondsDay 3: light blue to dark blueDay 4: gray to blue to purpleDay 5: purpleSo, figuring we had some sort of blue each day, it was a boy. Giddy since.Yesterday was our first gender ultrasound at 16 weeks and sure enough, GenderMaker was correct! Now, everything wasn't as accurate in the instructions as Gender Maker makes it seems, so here is some advice on using it. Hydrate really well the night before. Use your first morning urine.. That means 4am for some folks if you have to get up to urinate. When filling the dropper (we peed in a red solo cup) fill it all the way...( after it cools for a few minutes to room temp). Don't just put a few drops and wait, keep adding more and watch the color dial change. It might make a mess but it saves time and frustration. Get a color match within the first three minutes. After sitting for a while, it turns funky colors of purple, pink, gray. So, all-in-all, it's a good product. If you want more accuracy, buy more than one. Nothing will compare to the 100% feeling of your ultrasound results so don't try to replace it with these. From: Houston, TX

Accurate!
I didn’t take a photo, so just take my word for it.I took this test at around 9 weeks pregnant and thought I did it wrong. I accidentally got urine all over the test instead of in the testing area. I was afraid that might have skewed the results toward being for a girl but I just got my NIPT test results back and it’s confirmed to be a girl!

Eh...
I could see the pink color before I applied my pee, so I wasn't surprised when it said "girl". It was exciting to wait for it, but after I got it, it seemed cheap. Definitely not worth $25.00. After it dried up, it looked like it hadn't been used at all, and it didn't take long to dry up at all. The instructions weren't clear on how much urine to apply. I'm definitely not counting on it to be right, and I'm definitely not buying it again.*Edit*Now that I've used it and found out the gender of my baby, I figured I'd edit my review. The test said we were having a girl, but we're having a boy. I still don't think it's worth the $25.00, but I did do it just for fun.
