It took about an hour for my 2 year old granddaughter to master. At first her feet would flip up and she would face plant the water. But then it became amazing! She learned how to keep her body balanced. She moves freely in the pool by kicking and using her arms! She will actually go get it and put it on and ask us to take her to the pool. Refuses to put on any other device! It is a GREAT pool product for toddlers! Get one or two! You will not be disappointed.

This vest has made all the difference. Floaties and a life vest alone never did it, but my son is now swimming and jumping in the pool by himself. He went from clinging to me in the water to jumping in the pool by himself with 3 days of using this product... thank you, thank you. We've tried so hard to get him over his fear and this is the first thing that has worked!

My wife brought home some cheap “swim-vest” from a retail store and I put it on my 2 year old son and got in the pool. I tested it a little to see how he would float in it and the “vest” pushed him straight to his face!!! Not even slightly, but he literally had to fight to keep his balance. Then you read the “fine-print”... “not a flotation device”. I was pissed that they can get around that by saying a “swim vest” they are actually more dangerous than not wearing anything. So I started looking and I found this Body Glove “Paddle Pal”. I recognize the Body Glove as a decent brand from all their other surf gear I’ve used in the past. After trying this out in the pool, I am soooo happy with it! Perfect amount of floatation for my son to learn how to paddle and swim and if he does fall forward this vest flips him to his back and keeps him from landing face down. I could not be happier with this and definitely recommend this to parents. AVOID the fake “swim vests”, you get what you pay for and this isn’t even over priced for your child’s safety. I would gladly pay double for this product now having used it and seen what other garbage vests are out there.

My 3 year old is a huge Cars and Lightning McQueen fan, and so this was the perfect find for him. He has absolutely no issue wearing this at the pool this Summer, and hasn't complained about it being too uncomfortable. Price was great and I feel like he is safe when in the pool.

Fits well and works great but they shipped me the wrong design. I requested a girly design and got a boyish one for my 3 yr old princess. She was disappointed but we needed it to leave the next day for a trip to the lake and I could not return before using it. I couldn’t figure out how to get ahold of the seller in order to inform them so now we’re stuff with an octopus design.

This is a great jacket and my grandson will love it. The only disappointment is that it says rated to 55Lbs. The label clearly says 30-50 lbs. I wanted it to last longer.

I got this for my two-year-old son who has never had swimming lessons or really been in a pool before. You do have to be able to keep your head out of the water with this item. He had enough strength to keep his head up and lean slightly back so he didn’t do a face plant like I read in some reviews. This is not to let him swim by himself. I did have to be very close to him the whole time. By the second time wearing it and after at least 30 minutes in the pool, I was able to just let him go and he floated on his belly keeping his head up out of the water. But again, I was right next to him. Overall, I am very happy with this product and it has been very helpful.

Our kids used these floaties for 3 years and didn't outgrow them. Girl from ages 4-7 and boy from 2-5. Both average sized. It keeps their heads above the water really well.

This was the best purchase for our Caribbean vacation. Our 3.5 year old loved wearing it in the pool and ocean. She felt confident for the first time in the water. And it wasn't too bulky and constricting. Highly recommend!

Le pongo 5 estrellas por que cumple el objetivo de darle seguridad y confianza a los hijos, le tuve que extender la correa que es un poco pequeña, tal vez para pequeños mas delgaditos funcionaria perfectamente, mi hijo tiene 5 años y el flotador le funciono de maravilla, sobre todo la seguridad que le da para meterse a nadar, se siente seguro, recomendado totalmente.

Que no es estorboso y que la da movilidad a los niños de jugar y tener visión en cualquier momento ya que no se sube como otros.
