These headphones are great for anyone with a budget, but the "dual EQ modes" is not worth it. To me, it is more of a gimmick. Does it change the sound? Sure. Does it make the music feel any different? No. I tried switching the modes on the headphones and tried to listen to the difference that it makes, but the change just isn't there. But the normal headphone is great. It produces crisp highs with enough low end for electronic music or anything that has a lot of bass. Some of the highs were a little pinchy, but I got used to it.PROS - Handles all music well, great sound, durable, they can get loudCONS - The dual EQ is a gimmick, they stick out of your earOverall, I think that these headphones are great to pick up. You can use them as your back up headphones, but I mainly just use these every time I listen to music. If you don't like silicone ear tips or they don't provide enough sound isolation for you, then I would recommend picking up some Comply Foam Tips. They helped the comfort a lot and I can't hear anything when I have them in. I would have no problem recommending getting these headphones, but don't get it just for the Dual EQ Modes. BECAUSE IT DOESN'T WORK.

the sound is not bad at all. i was expecting a somewhat hollowed out sound but was actually really nice. the only problem i had was that the mic was horrible. people were constantly hearing popping and lots of static.Updated: Sun Valley Tek Int'l Inc. was gracious enough to send me another unit upon seeing my review. Upon further inspection of the new unit, I have come to realize that I had previously received a faulty unit. The mic is cleaner than the stock unit and the sound is on par with my old beats wired earbuds. To be honest this quite possibly my favorite set of buds now. Again, much appreciated to Sun Valley Tek to go out of their way to make sure I was happy with the purchase. That's top notch service right there.

The customer service on this was great as I had a defective product hence from my earlier review I am upgrading this to a 4 star. I wasn't able to test the microphone so read the other reviews to determine its quality.Pros:1. Excellent packaging which will serve very well as a gift.2. It passed all bass testing I performed on it. This earphones are focused more towards bass 'satisfaction' (well most earphones and headphones are). If you listen to music with heavy bass eg: club music (elec, house, trans) these are really a decent pair.3. Excellent customer service. I was given a replacement pair for my defective ones.Cons:1. $25 for these........are they worth the price? well if you need the earphones for any of the pros above then yes. There are better pairs out there in the market at this price if you are willing to spend the time to find them.2. I tested this with Skyfall-Adele at N-mode, it failed epicly and was crackly(is this even a word) sometimes. I also tested this with Bohemian Rhapsody (one of the best songs to test any music gadget). In conclusion - keep this pair of earphones for your heavy bass music.

Edit:After my review, the company contacted me to verify my address and sent me a re placement straight away. I have been using the earbuds for the past two weeks and so far, they work as they're supposed to.I'm happy the company took immediate action to replace the defective set, so I updated my review :)-----Prev:The mic and remote stopped working less than a week after I got this :/First, it started doing this thing where it would randomly jack up the volume while I was walking, blasting my eardrums and then I couldn't even turn it down from the earbuds.Then, the remote stopped working altogether, and the mic also stopped working :(

I've used these headphones nearly every day (except weekends) for just over a month. I have a job that allows me to drown out loud co-workers with headphones, and that's exactly what I wanted these to do. They're inexpensive, the sound is good enough for most people, the cord is made out of a sturdy material that doesn't tangle easily, they make a nice seal in my ear. I quite like these. I've used them to make one call and the sound quality was good and the other person could hear me fine.However I do have a complaint, and it's an annoying one. I'm not sure if there's a bad ground in the cable, or if it's static in the cord building up on my hoodie, but these occasionally shock the inside of my ear. Never enough to really hurt me, but I do get these little jolts to wake me up throughout the day.Other than that I take them with me everywhere in my backpack, on the train, and use them for 7 out of my 8 hours at work.

The earbuds work reasonably well, and the sound quality isn't terrible for the price, but you can do better. The bass response is a bit weak (regardless of whether you have it in bass or normal mode) and the treble response goes to hell quickly if there are too many voices. It gets muddled very easily. These perform quite admirably in the mid range, though. Considering that it comes with the remote and mic (which you'll sound a bit echoy on), and the sound is alright, it's decent value. They put a lot of effort into their packaging, and, it appears, in buying reviews. Maybe they could have spent that money and effort on improving the design of their speakers?

I normally take a while using a product before writing a review, but I had to start writing this not 15 minutes after I used these headphones.First of all, I've never really used a pair of headphones that weren't the default iPhone headphones - but I dunked one of those earbuds in a cup of tea and needed a new pair. I chose these mostly on looks, and the already good reviews.The packaging is very sleek. The box looks and feels like there are high end earbuds in it.They fit very comfortably in my ear, which is not something I can usually say. The sound is extremely crisp, and the volume is very good. You can rotate the earbuds to adjust the bass level, which is a great bonus.To me, you can't beat these for the price. I hope they hold up, because so far I am in love with these earbuds.

Poor battery life and frequent drop-outs. You get what you pay for.

Good buds, however, when the strap gets pinched, the connection is lost until you straighten it out. Kind of irritating.
